| I heard the whole thing on NPR. here is my take on the whole thing. Dr. Ford dramatic and emotional but with several gaps and holes in her answers. She had no one to back up her statements all four she said where there said it never happened. I would give a B for her performance. Judge Kavanaugh direct solid answers emotional and heart felt. No holes in his answers. I would give him an A. I think the Dem;s looked liked complete jerk's they are all Attorney's and I would not hire any of them to represent me for a traffic ticket. The Republican's where more than polite to Dr. Ford. At the end of the day it is still a he said she said. But I have to give the day to Judge Kavanaugh. |

They only want to delay the process until after the mid terms, on the outside chance they can capture control of the senate. For the same reason, Feinstein didn’t hold onto Ford’s account because she wanted to respect her desire to remain anonymous.
That’s all a ruse. Feinstein held out because it was a trump card to create the delay. I don’t believe for a second Feinstein’s claim that the leak to the WaPo didn’t come from her office. Since PROVING A NEGATIVE seems to be the Democrats new standard, then Feinstein needs to prove the leak did not come from her office.
Can any of you imagine the crap they can drag out of your days as a 16 year old child? Imagine getting pummeled about crude fart jokes, sexual innuendo’s about girls (or boys), or...heaven forbid......beer drinking (gasp).
Kavanaugh did exactly what he had to do. He blasted them and called it what it was. He took a page from Justice Thomas’ playbook and he openly expressed outrage. Lindsay Graham basically saved the day. Finally, some real passion and fire. This should serve as a seminal moment for conservatives going forward.
That screwy idea of having that prosecutor ask questions of Ford for the Republicans was a horrible flop. That was a cowardly maneuver, because the GOP wanted to avoid looking like they were persecuting some innocent, immature, babe-in-the-woods girl.....who was supremely trained and rehearsed.
I hope to Hell this backfires on the Democrats. |

Location: Kansas | Brit Hume remarked though that using the prosecutor might have been good in the respect, as I would see it, that if one or two of the Senators had become overly aggressive without meaning to, toward Ms. Ford, it could have been political suicide.
Did you know that Kavanaugh's mother, as a judge back when, had forced a forecloseure on Ms. Ford's parents house. Motive for revenge? |

Jane Doe has a name. It's Julie Swetnik and she has a very questionable background including getting waaaay behind on her taxes (tens of thousands) but somehow magically recovering. She was once a client of Ms. Katz who is Ms. Ford's attorney.  Plus she has an ex-boyfriend who had to get a restraining order against her because she threatened him and his child. He's suspicious of her story to say the least. Â
Lindsey Graham is on this like a duck on a Junebug.

Location: Do I hear Banjos? | As they prepare to vote today...I hope that the weasels in Washington think long and hard about what will happen if they allow this smear campaign tactic to derail this nominee. If they do not vote to confirm him...this will make it Open Season on every single one of them in the future. If un-provable allegations with zero evidence from high school are enough to condemn a man in the name of politics...none of them are safe. They had better understand that...and vote him in.

| I don’t know who’s house it happened at or even what year it happened. I don’t know if I got there before everyone else or after. I don’t know how I got there or how I got home over 8 miles away (at the age of 15). My life time friend doesn’t remember any of this ( and the other 3 people I said were there testified under oath they don’t know anything about this). I have a fear of flying , but have no problem jet-setting all over the world while on vacation. I’ve been on airplanes more in the past two months than most people in a year, but my fear is completely legit. I don’t know who paid for my hotel and polygraph test( the afternoon of my grandmothers funeral, or maybe it was the next day, who knows). And guess what? I flew there. Oh and that polygraph, it was only two questions, neither of which were about Kavanaugh. But hey, I passed so that’s all that matters. And my PhD in psychology definitely, in no way, helped me with it or my testimony today. My friends on the beach encouraged me to continue contacting the media with my story (because we were running out of time). I can’t name them, so we’ll just call them beach friends. Yet while giving such great advice, none were willing to be character witnesses. Meanwhile, Judge Kavanaugh had hundreds of character witnesses step up in a matter of days. My lawyers, out of the kindness of their hearts, are helping me for FREE yet I have a “needed” gofundme page that currently is sitting at $473,622. I’m so desperately in need of help there’s even a second gofundme with $209,987. I promise though I’m not getting anything out of my testimony, that money is just going to cover my expenses. I’m super smart. I have a PhD and I teach graduate students. I know lots of big words, but it should be totally believable that I don’t understand basic questions. I was the only person in the United States that didn’t know Congress agreed to come to me instead of me going to DC. They really do care about my flying phobia after all. Get the picture yet, America? |
