Update....RLTW & RWLTW & RKLTW ?????Praying to the man upstairs. Our God is an awesome God.
Pretty stable/okay day today. Just a few words that stuck with me today. My parents were on speaker phone saying i love you and how proud they are of him. I said you dont need to talk just listen. Afterwards he looked at me and said "they know i love them." I said yes they do thats why you didnt need to say anything for your lungs sake. Then we were in there before bed and he was telling me to go get him clothes so we can get out. I said where do you want to go he said "stop asking questions get me clothes and lets go." Love that man.
His pancreatitis is not good he is in a lot of pain. Praying that gets a little better. His left lung from x-ray looks worse then yesterday but he is off vent and on oxygen through nose tube. His pneumonia is still there. Praying that starts to turn around. His bacteria/infection is still not in blood but still in body. Hopeful to get meds tomorrow or Saturday. Praying those work. The antifungal antibiotics I pray are still working and fighting his fungas. His kidneys seem to be working but will not stop dialysis cause of the amount of fluid they need to get off of his body. He is very swollen from all the blood, surgerys and antibiotics. He may go in for surgery tomorrow or he may not. Thats up in the air as of right now getting off phone with doctor.
Power of prayer. He love us and will continue to fight. Thank you for all the prayers and love. Means so much to us. ?????

Ok prayer warriors- keep it up! Asia Ann , Ryan and Knox still need us! Thank you for keeping them all in your hearts and prayers! Here’s the latest update:
“Update...pray, pray and pray. Our marathon and rollercoater
Last night he was stable. Had a pretty okay night after what happend yesterday. Only slept for about 4/5 hours. His white count went down from 18 to 15. His lungs sounded good cause they put that tube in his left lung yesterday during surgery, so very thankful for that durning this time. Ryan was really tired when Doc went in this morning at 11:30. She was talking to him and had a good convo. She mesaged me saying hey is tired but come up and keep him awake for a little bit.
I got over to hospital at 12. Buzzed to be let in, was told had to wait 10 min. Within 5 minutes the alarm started going off which is (code blue alarm.) I said thats Ryan, put down my phone and prayed. Next a dr came flying into the waiting room pressing the button prob 8 times to get in. Couldn't get in. Then the door opened to the side so she flung in. A nurse 10 seconds later comes out to waiting room and says there is an emergency up here we arent letting anyone in. I said it was a doctor trying to get in not me, but is it my husband. She said dont know who it is but its an emergency. I then said to myself yes its my husband time to pray again. Prayed and text Dr saying " I just heard alarms back there....god please dont tell me its him ." 2 min later she comes walking out i said it was him but he didnt stop completely breathing thank GOD!!
We caught him in time and he was slower then yesterday. He was talking to the nurses, he then said i am having problems breathing. They put a cold rag on his head and started to fan him. They called in the RT nurse. Ryan then said i need rizzo which is his main Dr. So they called her up. When the RT nurse came in his stats were 100. They all said i know but he says he is having problems. As soon as his Dr came in he started breathing like he did yesterday and his stats were at 50/60 for oxygen. She started talking to him telling him to breath he said i cant. She said you just talked so you can. Breath deep in your nose and out through mouth. He did big nose then little breath out and said no. She then said Ryan %@*&%ing breath. He started to breath. They gave him medicine to calm down after that. I was then let in the room.
They are now saying its a panic attack. There is nothing new with medicine and or anything that would make this happen. Now that it had happend two days in a row and nothing is showing up why besides panic attack. They have looked through medicine, through ct scans, xray, ekg, and have talked with everyone they can. Tomorrow a specialist will be coming in the morning to talk to Ryan. One of my pastors will be in tonight. Our Chaplin of the Regiment will be in Tuesday to talk to him. Hoping this helps. Along with prayers and the good Lord fighting with him. And doctors looking further into what has happened the last two days.”

Continued prayers from Kansas.  It's heart wrenching to read this but I'm thankful for this family and appreciate every detail we can get so we can fight and pray along side them.

my heart goes out to Ryan.I just can't even imagine what he is going through physically and mentally.I pray he will start turning the corner soon.Stay strong soldier,we are praying for you,keep up the fight

Update on Ryan from his wife Asia Ann
Update...
Surgery went well. AMEN TO NO DEAD muscle or fat and no PUSS !! Praise God!! They put fake skin on his side area to see if his body would tolerate it. They also had to staple his side area . That pain is hard on Ryan. They had to up his dosage for pain medication. His kidney levels are still going up. But not to the point where they putting him back on crt. They believe by tonight he will be. He has gained a lot of fluid in body since surgery. His lungs are not very good but he still has his chest tube in so that is helping him.
His white count has gone up a little bit and he needed blood products in surgery today. They were going to give him some in the am but he was going in for surgery. His mind on these pain meds are something else. Got to love him. Thinking someone is going to take his kidneys. Saying he was in germany in a bag with a German lady with a bunch of liquid. Just a bunch. He had been drinking good and keeping those fluids down.
Regina Dyess came in tonight and he looked at her and said I love you regina. He had a great talk with Erik Alfsen and Greg tonight too.
Please continue to pray for him and his needs. Along with surgery on Friday. Thank you all.
