All the hysteria the media is causing by showing barren grocery store shelves and people fist fighting over toilet paper .... I went to Wally world today and everything is totally fine, no shortages of anything. And I was at another major grocery chain the other day and all was fine. I saw something the other day about that animated show, "The Simpsons" it's been said everything they have shown has come to fruition.. including this virus from China... very interesting! I need to find the article. Sure makes ya wonder.... Ummm... You literally can't find toilet paper or lysol wipes or bleach here where I live in Canada. You have to go to 4 or so different stores if you actually need any of the above prodcuts. The panic is true. Lula Bell and C are flying home from Hawaii tonight, and she told us that Hawaii was rationing toilet paper and they couldn't find Germ-X anywhere. . . . Daddy said he saw 2 women literally fighting over TP in Australia on tv Sunday am.

| We have I think 13 Presumptive Positive tests here in Iowa at the moment. A whole group when on an Egyptian cruise. I had to look up presumptive positive. Which means they had 1 positive test marker, so they assume it's probably real, then they send the sample to the CDC for their real test. I did manage to get my regular toilet paper last night, and I only bought one of my usual packages. I refuse to be in a panic state. Our Walmart had plenty of variety of TP. They also had Clorox or whatever wipes. I didn't even look or go to the hand santizer aisle. |

Location: Randolph, Utah | I live in rural Utah, the closest Walmart is in southwest Wyoming, I thought being in a rural area we'd be immune from the crazy no toilet paper craze, nope. I needed hand sanitizer, I tried 2 stores before I gave up. I work with a guy who is having a complete melt down about getting the corona virus. He's been freaking out for over a week about it. Yesterday he went MIA. No one knew if he was coming in to work, and he wouldn't answer the phone. Come to find out another co-worker was in Italy last week. He didn't tell anyone he'd been out of the country just came back to work. So I think that's why this guy is freaking out so bad. Do I love it, no, but I don't have a lot of close contact with this guy. I'll just keep my hands washed. The CDC website says there is like 650 cases. . compare that to the millions of people in the US, that's a low percentage of people. I get it's scary, especially for those with compromised immunity but is it really any worse than the flu?? |

| Unless you are considered "high risk" meaning over 50, have a pre-existing condition or have traveled where there has been an outbreak, please just wash your hands and go about your day. Most Americans statistically have a better chance of dying in a tragic scooter accident than dying from covid-19. People need to stop freaking out and just.... WASH. YOUR. HANDS. |

Location: Illinois | Knock on wood, I have survived my whole life without getting sick, other than minor colds. And sometimes I wonder if being a horse person has built up our immunity somewhat. We're so much more exposed to elements, the amounts of dirt/dust we eat/inhale has got to be astronomical, 5 second rules on food we drop on the barn floor but still eat anyway, touching their feet/tails and not paying attention and touching our faces wiping sweat off on a hot day, touching the same pen as the other 100 people that have entered the race, etc. . I would think we'd be immune to anything after all that lol |

YES!!! I was a rodeo kid and as a child I was under the bleachers playing in nasty conditions no less than 6 days a week. LOL. I rarely ever get sick. Parents these days try and sterilize every single thing!! Makes ya wonder. |

I'm totally the definition of free range mom at our little farm and my kids are into EVERYTHING. Mud, dirt, animal poo piles. Whatever. Other than sniffles here and there when weather changes or ear infections, our kids have faired pretty well thus far. |

I just seen Rodeo Houston's updated post. . . This is getting ridiculous! So now what happens to the cowboys/cowgirls who have already won money? Does it still go to the world standing? |

When I watched Rodeo Houston last week for a couple nights on CC there were not hardly anyone in the stands, lots and lots of empty seats.. I was thinking that maybe the Coronavirus stir up is causing alot to stay away. |

Location: Tulsa, Ok | As I am getting ready to write a check for the BBR finals I am wondering if it will be affected. So far OK has only had a couple of cases, but I figure it is only a matter of time. With the race drawing from such a wide area there is definitely concern. |
