As for Itsme, well, you know how that goes. Typical behavior, and you notice he's not been asking for any help from the board with his daughter's horses here lately? He's really sweet when he wants something. He knows what he's doing. He just likes to put people's panties in a twist, nevermind him, he just likes to say stupid crap that goes against the grain so he can tag himself as a 'noncomformist'. Blah, blah, blah.
Im always sweet! I dont NEED info from most on here but like to use some on here as a fourth or fifth opinion, and even then panties get bunched if I dont adhere to it like the gospel.
As for the cat, I couldnt careless and certainly dont want someones career ruined over it. Just remember if you have an outside predatory animal and it leaves your property it could end up dead.

Please explain to me how to be absolutely certain an outside cat will remain on your property.

Say's the person stalking this thread to stir the pot. LOL you just can't help yourself can you? It's so hard for you to admit that killing an animal clearly a house pet, with a weapon desgined for hunting wild game ( not disposing of "feral cats" as the idiot who did this claimed...) is actually MORALLY wrong, points to her being a completely incompetent VET incapeable of the values needed to do her job. THEREFORE, we the people vote her off the vet island and are correct in doing so because we DO care...

Clearly does not apply to a cat that had a HOUSE SITTER who let it outside to use the restroom and it prowled. . .------ Helpful DefinitionsFor the purposes of this Web site, the term "free-ranging cats" applies to owned cats that spend all or a portion of their time outdoors where they may prey on wildlife. "Feral cats" are those cats that are not owned and exist in the wild. Feral cats can be born in the wild or may have only recently entered into the wild, but we make no attempt here to distinguish between these two groups. Feral animals can exist in the wild completely unaided by humans or they may be members of so-called "cat colonies" that receive varying levels of care and food from human caretakers.

Seriously, there are psychotic people who have a history of killing and torturing animals, as an early sign of their psychosis. Normal people don't do this....and then gloat about it and display it the way she did. People who kill for no good reason and are remorseless are probably psychotic and stand a good chance of going on to do much worse things. If you want to read about this kind of psychopathology taken to the extreme, read about serial killers and psychopaths like "the iceman", Richard Kuklinski. He boasted about the pleasure he derived from torturing and killing cats.....dogs too. Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer did the same things. It's quite possible we will hear about her again.
This is what I wondered, when would this behavior escalate to the next level to include possible human victims in some way.

| It's gone so far because it's ridiculous and that cat was domesticated and had a happy home, and some ignorant, entitled bozo killed it and bragged about it on social media. It's innapropriate and she should've known better. | |

Location: Kansas and loving it | I love the feral cats around my country home! The dead rats, rabbits, and pheasants tell me what a good job they do with population control. While my lovely domesticated cat left 5 separate mouse bits in 3 hours. May the curse of a million rats and mice be upon her. The cat was probably stalking small prey.

That was a good read, she has upset many many people over what she did, and theres alot of concern over this, so hopefully there will be charges pressed against her, and then we shall see how awesome she thinks she really is.

I understand to you it's just a cat BUT the issue is she's a VET! If she was hair dresser or a teacher who cares but it's her job to CARE for these animals....that's the issue.
