I am so happy to say I more optimistic each day that Emma will make a full recovery! I'm going to give her about a week before bringing the Vet out for her recheck. She looks amazing, is gaining weight and playful. She isn't 100% herself yet as far as loving but she is sooo close!! YAY Emma! She is one lucky horse to have you for a mom. You have done a great job. So thankful Emma is making progress and looking better.

Veteran Posts: 216	LAST UPDATE This is the last update on Emma. She is still slightly neurologic but expected to make a 100% recovery over the next 60 days. I have hand picked a very special home for her where she will receive the training she needs. She will begin training/re-conditioning VERY slowly. I am so proud of my super girl for coming through this. Emma leaves today and she will take a piece of my heart with her, a bittersweet moment but I simply don't have the skill needed to safely re-start her. I wish my brain could stop my heart from breaking but I know this is what is best for Emma. It is a wonderful conclusion for Emma, now I just need to fight back the tears and let her go where she reach her full potential.
