| Quick update... our prayers have been heard and answered. We are dealing with the favorable type. Very high success rate and they've successfully treated that kind there just recently. The relief we feel is amazing. He starts chemo tomorrow and we go in once a week for 6 weeks he gets to be outpatient as well! God is good, all the time. Thank you Jesus! |

Great news. My family has dealt with more than our fair share of Cancer, and the technology has increased so much from what it used to be. They have so many tools at thier dosposal now days. One thing I would reccomend for your sanity is a gratitude journal of some sort, just something to write in daily to help you stay grounded. Life will seem like everything is combining against you, but when you sit down and look for the positives they are still there, and it will really help your attitude and the attitude of your little guy. Still sending prayers Jacob, you and your family. |

Fantastic! I was hoping for that. Was it a "Wilm's tumor"?
The progress they've made with that one has been nothing short of amazing.
Keep plugging along. We are here and together we make for a big shoulder to lean on. |

Yes a wilms tumor. What happened is when they went in to get the biopsy they discovered it had ruptured, could have happened when he fell off the trampoline. They want to do 6 weeks of this chemo then do another scan to see the progress we are making, then go in and do surgery to remove the tumor... then we will see if we do more chemo plus radiation. |
