Location: Kansas | President just gave a speech and is suspending all travel from Europe for 30 days. Tom Hanks and his wife are in Australia and have both been diagnosed with Coronavirus after feeling ill. NBA Utah Jazz player tested positive and the NBA season is likely over. Thanks President Trump for being a leader early in the game and suspending travel from China. As I speak there are over 300 Chinese at our Southern border being detained in Mexico. This is directly after Dems tried to overturn the asylum law Trump put into place where illegals have to stay in Mexico until given the right to enter the US. These Chinese came here because they're trying to escape the disease in their own country. People from over 70 countries have been detained at our border since the outbreak but how many made it through. It's not that hard to do. ...and oh yeah Bernie Sanders said if it was his decision he would let them all in. Open borders, a Dem thing.

We have plenty of TP here in The Corpus Christi, Tx. but seriously, what's up with TP being bought out? I understand hand sanitizer, but shouldn't soap be selling out instead of TP? |

We have plenty here too in Seguin, I have the same way of thinking, why the tp and not the hand soap? After I saw that video of those big ole women fighting over the tp, all I could do was shake my head at how stupid humans can be..Grown women Fighting over TP now that just takes the cake as my Daddy would be saying if he were still with us. |

| Here in Washington state, it's getting absolutely ridiculous. All events with more than 250 people are cancelled - governer just announced this. As of today, a bunch of school districts on the west side are closed for 4-6 weeks starting today. (Wonder what these parents are supposed to do with young children that cannot be home alone) Workplaces are having people "telecommute" if they at all can. My husband's work hired someone that walks around all day cleaning doorknobs, tables, bathrooms, etc. We are basically under a quarantine in this dang state! |

Location: Illinois | Our Walmart was finally out of TP yesterday, but we also have the smaller walmart so the stock is never huge anyway. Water is also gone now too. Even the thing where you can refill your jugs had a sign on it that it was empty. I'm going to assume people are just stocking up in case there comes a time when they can't go out. It literally went from being fine one day to now buying up stuff. I noticed frozen food aisle was half empty too. But Costco a couple miles away still had everything so no mass hysteria there yet. I still have 6 months worth of toilet paper and enough food in the freezer so I suppose if I got confined to my house I'd be alright. I'm still not super worried about it, but it is kind of funny watching people panic |

| I was wondering if our baseball tournaments that begin this weekend were in danger of being cancelled. To my surprise, we are still on. However, the organization sent out a state wide notice of new mandatory rules effective immediately that coaches, umpires and players will not be allowed to shake hands or high 5 each other before, during and after games like they always have. Out of all the things, this is probably the most stupid I've seen. But whatever. We are going in prepared, like we always have... I bring hand sanitizer because the restrooms are usually nasty and out of soap! |

| We went to town today to get water for our dispenser, like we always do weekly. We were lucky to get 4 bottles because that's all that was left. 5 gallon jugs. And that was at a hardware store. We went next door to the smaller grocery store to get something for supper. We saw they had their toilet paper out front and center with a big sign that said limit 2 per family. And same with bottled water. I did grab bottled water because I always do! I keep a few cases in my fridge in the feed room and I always keep the ice chest in my pickup filled with bottled water for baseball boys. Oh yeah and they were completely out of hand sanitizer. The small hardware store had a sign out front saying no public use of our restroom. Guess that's their way of trying to keep more germs at bay..... |

When I was at Dillons yesterday one thing kind of funny was the shelves were pretty much empty but what was left gave you insight into what people don't like in the way of toilet paper. The Charmin with the red packaging was untouched.

The red charmin is the best charmin.....but also if you you look it up there's never actually been a shortage from suppliers or a shortage of it coming from China. And there's still not a shortage from suppliers, the stores just can't get it in fast enough to keep up with the panic. There's still more than enough toilet paper in the world for everyone lol |

See how it all comes back to bite you in the butt. Just saw a cute meme with an arrogant cat. "I was stuck in a long line at Wal-Mart so I coughed and said 'this cough is just so much worse since I got back from China.' Line gone. |
