Me too! I didn't see everything except the rear right as she entered the alley. Maybe if she is at the bottom of the ground and hardly anyone or no one behind her, she will run her?? |

Not me!  That's dangerous not only to Sydni but to the other ladies, horses, and people down there in the alley. She definitely can do it, but absolutely would not be worth it to me to deal with that crap in the alley. Too many out there that you DON'T have to deal with that. I can handle on the muscle, but that crap is outright dangerous. JMOÂ
Exactly. I wouldnt have her. Just not worth it. She's an accident waiting to happen. To each their own but I like a brain and all the other horses there prove you can be wicked fast and not a mental midget. |

Exactly, we saw her go one time! I would not judge her off of that one time, I have seen horses alot worse than her. I much rather have one like her than one that refuses, I always cringe when I see horses refuse to go in.

I'm not being rude. I'm stating my opinion same as everyome else on here. The horse clearly has issues and I would say that is why we have only seen her run once at the NFR. I'm not a fan of such behavior. |

Referring to one as a "mental midget" does not come across in text as a "term of endearment". |

Perhaps so... I'm sure there is a Reason they call her Twisted Sister... We've all had to deal with mares... We all know they have female problems on a scale comparable to their size. Personally I like them, if only because they are the only ones that can make a baby horse from scratch.. (and baby horses are the kewlest things in the world) |

I agree it does not. However any horse that rears to that extent is what I consider a mental midget. Regardless of the circumstances. I know of too many people that were killed from just that and therefore my tolerance is pretty low in regards to rearing.
I'm a huge fan of mares and I do not think being a mare is the issue at hand. She looks great in the video but there again she required assistance from someone else horseback. If you review day 3 of finals you can see she is in the back of the alley heart distraught and the man handling her has her hands full. After Blanchard runs you see her led down in front of Shada.
No disrespect intended I just tend to be blunt. The mare is 100xs more "bothered" than any of the other horses. Which brings me to form my opinion of her. Its OK for some to love her and it OK for others to not. That's what's so great about good ole America , right? |

I've seen horses act 10x worse then Sister in this video at jack pots, needing a buddy horse, rearing, spinning etc... and some if not most aren't even getting close to a check in the 1D. Most on here say "As long as they get me to the NFR I will deal with it."
By looking at this video and seeing how she acted at the NFR, my guess is she just can't handle the excitement of the T&M, she is naturally pumped up and ready to go and it is just too much for her. I think if Sydni was used to that behavior from Sister she wouldn't have switched to the "slower", calmer horse, she would have taken her chances with the wicked fast Sister because that is just something she "had to deal with".
Sounds to me like the extreme behavior in the alley of the T&M is not normal behavior.
I may be way off. I have never seen her run other then the video posted and the first round, but that is my guess by how it played out. |

Instead of being intolerant of rearing.. I think you should step back and ask, WHY did the horse rear?
So many people here think horses reared because they have the capability of reason.. That's BS!
Get off your butts and learn about "INSTINCT"! Then use that as your base for training and understanding a horse.. |

| I think it may suit some of these posters to look at past nfr videos. She's not the first to go in in that manor and not nearly as much was said. I know mighty man, one of my favorites did very similar circus acts. If they feel comfortable, i trust their judgement. Obviously she's working Clancy for now but if she switches, i won't be disappointed one way or another. |

Location: VA | I believe in the turn and burn video that came out a while back one of the ladies has a sorrel mare that will catapult into the air before she goes. Said when she's ready she's ready and if you hold her or tweak her after that she will go up. Anyone know name or horse ( I'm drawing a blank)? There's a clip of it on that video. |

| I just love how people think they "know" a horse based on seeing it ONE time at ONE run. Then they call it names, say it's unsafe and act all knowing.
Truth? You don't know ANY horse seeing it run ONE time.
The NFR sure brings the Idiot out in people and sure does show the people that should and shouldn't be giving advice out on a public forum. |

| If you have ever rodeo d much you would realize that the type of alley setup that is at the NFR just doesn't work for some horses. She probably had an inkling going in that she would be like that, and then went to plan B. Doesn't mean that the horse is a dink, just not her thing! |

Location: DUMPING CATS AND PIGS IN TEXAS :) | I am sure Ms. Sydni knows her mare like the back of her hand and knows exactly what she is doing at the NFR. Clancy is an awesome horse too, but put me at the top of the list of wanting to see The Twisted Sister again.......once was not enough! I got so excited when they said she was riding her last night and then she came out on Clancy......my little bubble burst lol....... (pretend these little bath bubbles are bursting :) |
