Hopefully she gets away from Ramsey soon. I was just thinking that we have not had a birth other than Crasters daughters on the show. I am hoping not Sansa, no babies for her would be good. I am thinking Tommen. The first and last of his name dies tonight? Then Marcella hits the throne? I am hoping Little Finger does something to help Sansa.

I need to go find a magnifying glass so I can read the books I bought. LOL

I ended up buying them on audio book :) So I could listen to them in the car on the way to and from work, feed store, etc. I enjoy reading, I just don't really have the time to.

I might have to do that if I can find where they aren't $31.00 per book!

Audible.com has them for reasonable prices also. That's where I have mine from, and I can have it on my phone and listen anywhere.

Here is an interesting video about Jon Snows future in the series.  It has good points from the book and the tv show.

I saw the Jon snow thing going down... But the Marcella thing broke my heart. Poor Jamie, happiness is not in his future it would seem.

I watched the first 2 seasons....and did read the books.  They don't seem to be following the books at all anymore?
He seems to get to begin to like a character and then finds some horrible end for them.... :-/  Used to make me mad every time he killed off one of my favorites.

I did and didn't know about Marcella. The fortune teller in the book, told Cersie as a child that she would live to see her children die. It actually showed the fortune teller, I think it was in the first episode? Cersei having a flashback of her childhood before Tommen's wedding. It was still extremely sad :( Marcella admitting she knew he was her father and she was glad for it. I had all kinds of happy feels here....then he got to actually be her father for about 20 seconds. I knew the sand snakes would get her. I really hope he turns the boat around.....

They have gone away from the books in a lot of ways, but they seem to keep to some of the bigger points. Jon snow, cersei. And dany are in the same spot so to speak at the end of season 5 as the end of book 5. I cannot believe that stannis would do that to shireen. In the books he would never have done that he adored his daughter. That just broke my heart.

I tend to agree that they've stuck more to the original story line than some other shows that HBO has adopted.  If you are a fan of the Sookie Stackhouse novels, you know how far HBO can go off script (True Blood) from books.  HBO went completely off the rails with that series but in a way it was nice -- you got to enjoy the story in a second version with the same characters.  Sometimes not following the book can let you enjoy the story more in that way and I'm curious as to what next season is going to bring in that regard.

I actually really loved that serious. Just wish it was less trashy to watch. Solve things just don't need to be on for everyone to see. Loved the books for sure.

-sigh- welp, time to wait on season 6.
