How anyone could think that a one payer system is a good thing is spooky to me. Mainly because we didn't need "Health Care Reform" we needed Tort reform. We needed big $$ out of health care - not sure how but it needed to be done.
It's like the ELD mandate for trucks. Ok so the Feds are lining the pockets of the ELD companies (vice versa) and costing Me MONEY in the name of "safety" It won't make a d@mn thing safer. So saying that we have Global Warming, when you study Geology, the myth is De-bunked. Enviornmental health is important, but putting people out of work, making goods more expensive doesn't make sense.
Take for instance the "diesel particulate filter" on a semi. The maintenance costs are THOUSANDS on those, also the number of trucks that BURN to the gound is rather large. So by reducing the emissions on one truck by .01% (I don't know what the number acctually is) but letting the sucker, plastic, fiberglass etc burn to the ground because it's a ridiculous system.... Negates any positives.
I'll vote Trump, because a Country without boarders - isn't a Country. I'll Vote for economic growth, and jobs. |

I liked his plan for debt free college. I do understand that it would be harder for people to get into college under that plan. I do not think that is a bad thing. We got a lot of mediocre collage grads that skimmed through in a C average or got worthless degrees from degree mills. I really think anyone should have access to debt free college. The idea that we are passing up on great, leaders, doctors, scientists and teachers because those people are concerned about the financial risk bothers me.
He is also for single payer health care. I think we can all agree that health is a of a mess. When you come out of a major health crisis completely bankrupt even when you have insurance, there is something wrong with that set up. Rich or poor, you should get access to health care.
I like his views on environmental issues. He said in his first debate that global climate change was the biggest threat to national security. People thought he was mad. Just this month the Pentagon stated that climate change is a growing threat to our national security.
I agree with him on immigration. We need to take the incentive out of hiring illegals. We should have legal options for foreign workers too, but we need to have much bigger fines for hiring illegals.
I like his stance on guns. I think he is very reasonable on that subject.
I like is views on caring for our vets and using them responsibly.
Prochoice
Pro gay rights
Anti TPP
Doesn't like Netanyahu or much of Israelsome policies.
He has good character. People bash on him because he received unemployment benefits when he was younger. When I look at what we have to choose from it kind of makes me laugh. Oh and he calls himself a DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST. Scary stuff right there.
But it was not meant to be. DNC tossed him under the bus. Rigged their debates and primary.
Thank you for the reply. I do not nor will not support a democratic socialist BUT I do appreciate and respect your reasons. I understood what you were saying and I really appreciated that you respected me enough to not call me names. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | Let me get this straight. The Bernie cult claims to be loyal to the man. Hillary and her corrupt cronies screw him royally and he ends up getting used like a whore to give the appearance that Hillary was not the anointed one. The media stacks the deck. The DNC emails show how they think he is a crazy fool. How does the Bernie cult react to his getting the shaft? Why naturally.....they throw their support behind the perpetrator. They followed Bernie's orders like good little subservient lemmings. No outrage on how their beloved candidate was played like a cheap fiddle. |

| There was a lot of outrage and still is. I see a lot of it on reddit and Facebook. They are angry at the DNC, will not support Hillary at all. Like I said, my whole family voted for Bernie. 20 of my family members agreed on something. That has never happened lol. Not one of them are voting for Hillary. Some are going 3rd party, some are writing Bernie in and the rest are for Trump. I know it is a small sample size but it makes me think Hillary did not do well on the Bernie vote.
One thing to keep in mind is that there are a lot of Correct The Record shills pushing a lot of false info online. And yes, a lot of them are saying they were pro Bernie but are now voting Hillary. |

I did not read one comment that called her a name or bullied her.... Every comment was attacking Hillary and the idea that people are voting for her because she is a women.
I meant everything I wrote previously, I hope that Vickie has more reasoning voting for Hillary than "first women president" because I can name a dozen women better qualified to be President than Hillary Clinton. I can also find a dozen candidates that are better qualified than Trump but I'm not voting for Trump solely on the fact that he has a penis...

Voting for her just because she is a woman is like eating a TURD because it looks like a Tootsie Roll.
Ohh - Oops - Frodo already said this. I didn't go back and read all the posts before posting.
I would LOVE to see a woman president but NOT HER. It's just like at work, there are MANY VERY brilliant women who work where I work but they tend to promote the "bimbos" because of their looks - (not AT ALL saying Hillary got this far on looks by ANY stretch of the imagination) but WHY can't they promote the ones with brains and credentials??

| The electoral college...sigh....news outlets are saying Trump has basically no path to victory. Is this the case? My vote will correspond with my Republican state and my voice will be heard. But the EC frustrates me because it may not align with the popular vote. This is likely the oldest gripe in the book but some of you are very knowledgable - what say you? |
