Just a step that had to be done. The court will now disburse the money to the parties involved based on the courts calcualtions of who owes who and how much. |

So, if I am understanding correctly, someone else purchased Latte and gave him to Mary... Therefore, is he officially hers or does he belong to someone else and she will just be able to continue riding him? ย
Mike Montgomery who is a representative of Justin Discount Boots Outfitter bought him. Mike is also 'heavily' involved w/ the Walkers. Google Mike Montgomery and see what his professional background reveals for yourself. Then make your presumptions and forecasts...............
I'm trying to google and I can only find baseball stuff? Lol

The guy who "bought" Latte from Justin Boot Outlet is Mark Wallace. Not Mike Montgomery |

I wondered the same thing.....and have assumptions as well and agree about the "assume" analogy. Not on here enough to follow who's OK to discuss and who's not. Don't want to break any rules so I usually just read and keep my opinions to myself!
That being said, I find Mary to be an inspiration after what she's been through however like someone else said-if you have a contract you have to follow through with what you've agreed to. |

Howdo you guys know who is wrong or who got "screwed"? ย For those that know what's in the contract, does the lady wanting 10% of earnings pay 10% of entry fees, vet, farrier, fuel, feed, etc? What about 10% of Mary's medical expenses when a horse she partially owned injured her?ย
Dont anybody go off on me I've really been wondering this...
Interesting...good question. Definitely didn't think of that |

Observation:
Had said "Contract" been fulfilled by ALL Parties involved, NONE of these proceedings would have occurred. |

Location: South Central Florida | I don't understand why some people criticize other people talking about a major horse situation on a horse board?
For those that say it's no ones business....neither is any othe sport or athletes, but we read all kind of stuff about their businesses, their lives, their injuries, their being traded or going free agent etc. . . NFL and NBA players have their saleries posted every wyere, so why is interest in this story any different?
I have no feelings or knowledge about the story, but I would like to. Emotion attached to the sale and story are part of life...
I will be anxious to see how the rest of the case plays out.
Another thing that gets me a little is that several of the posters that sort of "fuss" at us nosey busy bodys, have made very questionable remarks about the Walkers...and the likes of them etc. . . as well as the name of the person that was listed as the purchaser.
Yes lots of confussion, but half the people here that have factual information are afraid to post it because they will get deleted or the thread frozen. I'm not going to believe that the Walkers are less than honest, or that the other party is less than honest. It COULD be, maybe not, but could be just a difference of opinion on the merrits of the original contract. That can happen.

Justin Boots paid for all of Mary's medical bills ... go look at her NFR interview ...
The rest of the expenses are usually with the person buying the horse .... LLC tag means there is a payback on winnings and increase in assets to be divided and could include the unpaid portion of the price of the assets ... ...
Looks like to me Mary's hubby used to be an insurance agent // broker and had all bases covered with proclaiming Latte is now injured ...
Post on Walkers FB ... Thanks to the new owners I have a lifetime mount ....

Location: South Central Florida | So we don't know if the original "contract" was for 10% of retained ownership....or 10% of Winnings alone, or 10% of winnings after expenses or 10% or profit. Depending on how it is written, all of those are possible.
