| Monday Update Sept. 30 . . . these pictures are so awesome I can't keep my eyes dry. Thanks to everyone on BHW for your prayers. Keep the prayers coming and thanks to Asia for letting us post this personal journey. There's a reason. Keep PRAYING. (from DaveM)
(from Asia) This guy let a lone his family I can't thank enough. He was with Ryan on and off in Afghanistan the entire time after the accident. Flew with him to Texas and just left his side today Thats a bond no one could break. Thank you for being there for him and me the entire time. Thanks for giving me a shoulder to cry on, a hug when needed, ears to listen to me vent, and someone to just hang with during this rough and tough hell of a time. Thank you to his wife Allison for letting him stay for the last month and 2 weeks. Couldn't thank you enough.
Enjoy your family time now :) see you all soon after the baby boy is born!!

| Good morning. It's Tuesday, Oct. 1 and I found this new article about Ryan's transport to Texas from Afghanistan after he was injured so terribly. After reading this, it was even more clear to me that the immediate prayers from everyone who were told about this . . . were heard . . . thank you. And thank you Jesus. The fact he is still alive is a miracle. Click here for more detail to the story.

| Update...Oct. 3 from Asia,
He had a great day!! Field trip too. He is completely off of antibiotics. His white count keeps going down. Red count stable. Kidneys and lungs good!! Working on side area still. Woundvac looks good still. They will have surgery in OR on Friday. Thats for the left side to heal up faster along with wound vac change. His pain level today was better then yesterday thank goodness. Not so many drugs yay. They are weaning him off more each day.
He went to the CFI today to tour it and got his arm fitted for his right side. He loved it. He also got to see brooks for the firsr time!! Oh my he was so excited. He also saw his shirt his buddy got him he loved it!!!
I talked to two councilors today. Proud to say one said I am one of the strongest women he has seen with his degree of wounds. Its all about respect. Being true to yourself and being your families #1 advocate.

This made me cry, I am so happy for this man and his family, looks like daddy is back!!!! Asia is a strong woman and she ROCKS BIG TIME!!!!

When I saw Ryan and the dog together thats when the tears started, Thank you Dave for sharing with us and A Big Thank You To Asia for letting us follow this part of their life with them.. these two will forever be in MY Heart
