I feel the majority of teachers are good teachers, it's the politics and stupid policies that have messed things up. When I say we had some sucky teachers, I'm talking my reading teacher in grades 4-6 who mispronounced words BADLY all the time, the English/spelling teacher who made me do badly on a test because I couldn't understand her accent when she called out our spelling words (coach and road should not sound like coe-uch and roe-ud), the high school biology teacher who wouldn't teach us evolution, the civics teacher who told us republicans were evil rich people and only democrats cared about regular people, and the chemistry teacher who spent more time on sex ed than chem. That's what I'm talking about.
