| I am a firm believer in fate and that God places people in our lives for a reason. I don't know if Shelly knew how thoughtful Sterling was when it came to gifts, but I know God knew. The fact I decided to do this, and that she got my name to me is a God Thing. This is simply too perfect. My week has been kind of crappy, and this just made it do a 180! There really are some things money just can't buy, and this is simply priceless. |

When she told me she got your name, iwas so happy, i texted her back and told her HOW AWSOME that you got her, since this was all possible through Virginia! Would you do us a favor, and tell Virginias mom,dad and boyfriend we said MERRY CHRISTMAS and let them know they are in our thoughts and prayers |

Location: DUMPING CATS AND PIGS IN TEXAS :) | Sterling has a way of touching everyone she meets. I would never have found her without this place and I am thankful every day for what this place has done for me and so many people that I care about. There are people here, including my Sterling, that couldn't get rid of me even if they tried. |

Location: Oz, Kansas | I got my presents tonight. I got a beautiful picture frame, "G" brand, candle & a Christmas ornament in the shape of Texas. But what made it extra special was the handwritten letter on the inside of the card explaining why she did the Christmas exchange this year & reminding me of the reason for the Season & her relationship with Piggydog. It made me cry. She has remained anonymous for now but I'm sure when I get my wits about me I'll be able to figure it out.

I guess I got the secretest secret santa ever. Regardless she had a special relationship with Piggy Dog & has to figure out how to move on without her friend by her side. All I can say is Piggy Dog sure knew how to pick great friends. |

I really can't stay anonymous, waiting for you to get it was driving me crazy. Back in October when everyone was talking about not doing the exchange and sending money to Virginia parents instead, I knew she would have been so angry had y'all not done something she loved so much. This exchange is so amazing, and meant so much. Everyone was so excited about GIVING, I saw one post that said it seem everyone was more excited about the giving this year then receiving. That to me is amazing, reminds you what's really important. No one knows what tomorrow brings, I learned that this year. I want to be able to make a difference, and this is a tiny way we can do that. Sometimes we all get so caught up in our daily lives we forget the important things. I'm so glad you liked your gift, and I'm glad you liked what I wrote. I still can't think too much about her without crying, so many of us lost a piece of ourselves on that hill, but being able to do this in her memory brings some of what I lost back. I'm looking forward to doing this again next year!!

Location: Kansas | Mine arrived today and it is awesome!!!!!!!!!! Thank you thank you!!!!
I am attaching a picture but it may be tough to see everything so here's the lineup: Big tub of Uncle Jimmy's Sweet Buns (the horses will love these, except for Joker who isn't allowed big treats....I may have to bust some up into small pieces for him) Package of Claudia's Canine Cuisine Christmas Coookies - my dog and my brother's dog (who hates me) literally fell in love with them. I thought Tuffy was going to take the package out of my hands when I had trouble getting the plastic wrapper off, and when I set the package down after giving them each one treat, Will and Tuffy sat on both sides of it staring at it like "hello there's more in there!!!!" Two Flair Strips - good thing, I was getting low! Chapstick - I can never have too much of it - I keep a tube in every coat & vest pocket Big funky earrings a guardian angel visor clip an Under Armour ear warmer Hand warmers And a tube of hand lotion, which I ALWAYS need in the winter.

Location: Qld Australia | Yah for everyone. Unfortunately my work computer will only let me see SOME pics. I have no idea why. I can't wait to check the others out after I get home, breed mares, feed horses, pigs, sheep, cattle and dogs. Whew.
PS Lexy12 those bell boots and the candle are awesome.
