Run for Ryan on FB is a great page to like and provides updates.
My son is getting ready to head back to Afghanistan and I am starting to get the pre deployment jitters. Usually my husband does the updates because he knows how nervous I am about our Special Op's deployments.
Wouldn't it be great if we could hold a "Run for Ryan" barrel race? Thoughts anyone?

I dont FB either, so it is nice to have the updates here too every once in a while. My Husband made a FB account for stuff like this but never use it, but it is nice to beable to follow someone like Ryan and beable to look at other things when I get bored, lol.. But other wise I really could care less about this Facebooking stuff alot of drama, just not my thing.. I dont even know how to post on FB and dont want too.. BHW is my go to place, LOL..  |

This man right here has a will to live, a will to fight and a will to keep moving forward. The love he has for Knox and I is outstanding but that is a understatement.
He has had 2 huge days..you'll see in pictures and videos. We got to finally lay in the same bed together too. Tomorrow he has OR. Prayers for it to go good. He continues to push on and to show the statistic wrong. These pictures and videos are not to be showed on tv or anything like that. Thanks.

| So we received permission to host a "Run for Ryan" Barrel Race! Jessica Morris has offered to produce the event! Proceeds go to the family and perhaps a "smart home" for amputee's. More details to follow.... |

Update...ryan had a good OR the other day. Getting closer to fully healing the big wound. Once the big wound is healed we are one step closer to getting out of hospital, over to CFI, back to Savannah for a few-few years and then to Florida!! Life falls into place the way its suppose to be. God is good and only does what he is suppose to.
He had a great morning this morning with my family and pt...huge step, mirror image. He did amazing, didnt think he would do anything different but still huge. Dont you worry babe, I am here and will be here through this journey. When i supported you enlisting I supported you through this. You're no different then you were August 1st. Our new normal will be nothing but amazing. To the ones who want to call it handicap shame on you. We call it our new normal. We will continue our life as is, so dont try and manipulate us.
Thank you to my parents for being there from day 1. Thanks for the supprt and loving us for us. We love you.
Thank you to all who pray and love us too!!.please continue to so.
While praying tonight say a prayer for Knox man he has the crud/croup. He can fight this cause he is our kid. You got this knox man we will see you soon. Love you! |
