I've got the guy, Barry Wegners asking me the same thing...needs a big bay and a girl about my size that will run over someone to make a movie about a bounty hunter/barrel racer that hunts down criminals to support her hobby...she gets after a pedophile and ends up running him down in the alley way.
I have nothing to do but play on the puter at this time so I play it out and he sends me this "release" they would use.
Says I'd be one of 12 they've got signed up to interview/test so far...pays $200.00 per minute for the testing and $20,000.00 for the shoot if they use me and my horse as the stand in..
Mmmm...I've not given any info out and don't plan to since I can't even ride yet due to injury, lol...
He says he's a scout...same as above really.. seen the same pix I use for my profile and it sparked their interest. I just keep asking questions and playing along...yes, I'm bored and have nothing more to entertain me...sad isn't it?
This could be fun...any suggestions??

This agreement is entered between __________________________ (Candidate)
And Fred Verga (Stunt coordinator)
The Stunt Coordinator, his heirs, legal representatives and those acting with his permission is granted the right to use the work of the candidate for the express use of testing the Candidate and her riding abilities as they relate to the project. Studio releases Candidate from all injuries sustained as a result of the activity and holds harmless any and all parties.
The Stunt Coordinator, his heirs, legal representatives and those acting with the Stunt Coordinator’s permission agree not to use or allow images of the Candidate in whole or in part to be used in ways that would slander, embarrass, attack, or defame the character or person of the actress.
The Stunt Coordinator, his heirs, legal representatives and those acting with his permission agree not to use or allow the images of the candidate in whole or in part to be used to sell or promote sex, or to be used in conjunction with pornography, drugs, violence, or illegal/illicit activities.
Studio and Coordinator understand injury and death are possible during this and Candidate should not hesitate at any time during this for fear of blame in any kind. She, her horse, and her ranch are completely blameless as to outcome and understand this upon signing this document.
In exchange for services, the Candidate will receive the following compensation:
Deposit Paid of $ Dated 12/30/2010
Plus additional gratuities if work is deemed “exceptional”

Location: Work hard and Play hard | He got a hold of me to and said if I would kill this stunt man I would get $30,000.00 from a life insurance policy the stunt man is an illegal mexican and has no family and I said who would clean up the body he was stupid enough to say an ambulance would then he wanted it to happen at my house in my indoor arena I am thinking you are nuts he said he would be down to watch it all then I thought about setting it all up and having the law there hideing and watch what he wanted me to do and see if they could do anything to him for wanting this guy murdered. He then told me that he was the senior scout and I was already probably going to get the job he really liked me and he had the say and that there would be more movies after this. Does he think us barrel racers are stupid or what? |

This guy is way weird. Do not respond to his friend request. He was on this site a few years back calling a few women who had horses for sale on here. I was one of them.
He called me 3 times until I finally got him to stop. Said he wanted to use me and my horse in a movie. I strung him along long enough to get enough info to give to a PI friend of mine. Dave called him and shut him down from contacting advertisers on this sight. Guess he has now resurfaced on FB. |

Barry Wagner was located in Illinois. He was owner of a car dealership there. Had a wife and kids, was middle aged.
The stories that I am reading here are the same ones he told 5 years ago. Weird that he has resurfaced. I wonder if he has been doing this all along? I know there was a thread on here a while back about the same thing.
This guy is really weird. I wanted to go to his place of business and confront him. Now I wish I had.

Yeah, my husband didn't want me to. I wanted to take the three women I had talked to that he was contacting at the same time, and go confront him at his office. I would have taken a police escort with me. You can hire off duty officers for security.
Could you imagine his face? Sometimes people like this need a taste of their own medicine. I was pretty intimidated until I found his identity. My PI found it though phone records. |

Location: South Georgia Good o'l USA | Geeze, I was very suspicious from the start and why I did some investigating...he just doesn't know how small the barrel horse world is ...like I said I've been playing along and asking questions giving little in return but...I've nothing better to do so...having fun with it.
He said not to tell anybody because he get's flooded with "wanna bes" bothering him all the time.
He sent me some pictures he probably robbed of some sites...he say's this is he and his dog..
any body recognise him?

Location: relocated to Texas | Can't see the photo. I never saw him anyway, just had information on him. I do remember he had kind of a deep voice and he was professional in the way he spoke. He had an answer for every question too, never seemed to get tripped up. Even when I told him that I could find him nowhere as being affiliated with the companies he told me he represented. He made up an answer for that too, and never broke stride. He is probably a good salesman. |

| Yep he has been talkin to me too!!! Says the same thing about a bay horse standing on top of people!?!?! I told him I wasnt interested and he hasnt dropped it. Keeps asking me questions. Im with you I keep playing along in a way?!?! Weird too! Now he wants to know if I want to model for them?!?! UHHHH no thanks! Yeah i googled him too and cant find anything either. My suspitions were obviously right the first time he contacted me at 10 o'clock at night!!!! Weirdo! |

| Good Morning: I received a strange message via Facebook this morning - It was Barry Wegners asking me about my horse - does it have a big motor and would I like to be in a movie... and so before responding - I googled him - and low and behold I find this thread (THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!) - so I will not respond to him and in fact, will forward the message onto my brother (who is a police officer) and see if he can track him down.
Just wanted to let you all know - he's back out there looking for girls.. again... and his profile picture on FB is now two kitties... very cute.... but not so much if you know what I mean!

I got a message from that movie guy. I replied "Is this for real? If so, prove it" Never heard back. I told my husband, why would they want my horse to make a movie of when I know she's awesome and all, but there are horses like Hotshot, Stingray, Scamper that movies have not been made about. Scam.
....oh and not to mention big time movie producers don't find their people (or horses) via Facebook...

| Barry is back. The guy that calls you for a part in his movie. We got a call he was stalking on FB.
When he was stalking on BHW we turned him into the FBI and police. They did nothing. So BE AWARE!!
We remembered his name, and searched through the history of our threads. This thread was posted back in 2011.
