klutz02 - 2013-11-13 12:44 PM Mine are very comfortable...and yes...very slick.

Dang :-(. I don't like boots with slick bottoms or leather bottoms. Do they make any of them with a thicker, or less slick bottom?

I think they all have the same sole. I guess they didn't bother me all that much. No different than my Dr. Martins.

I don't think they make the souls any different. They all have the pictured souls.

Once you wear them for a while they aren't quite as slick.  I've used mine for goat tying and had no problem.  I will say that I don't recommend wearing them on snow and ice.

I actually haven't found them slick at all on the snow and ice, or anywhere else. I always thought they would be, but I haven't found them slippery on anything- ice, snow, mud, or wet grassy hills-

I have been shopping online for my daughter for Christmas. Preslars has the best prices I have seen. Do they run true to size? Seems like they run a little large from the reviews.

Love mine. Fit true to size but they ARE SLICK! You will hurt yourself if you try breaking in a pair in the winter (we have lots of snow). I went team sorting last year and had to use my horse as a crutch. Otherwise I would have been on my butt!

I just wanted to pass along that Zulily is having a sale on Tin Hauls. They only have a few styles, but they are $164-$219, seemed like a good deal!

You have to sign up for Zulily, but I think you can opt out of the daily emails.

It came on my email, but I can't link it without linking my account! It's in the New Today tab. The photo has a blue plaid shirt and a pair of boots.

That's totally crazy.  My daily Zulily ad didn't have that one. Just a bunch of dumb stuff.  Thanks!

How do Tin Haul jeans compare in size to Cruel Girl or Cowgirl Tuff?
