Black Jack and Craps.

I just discovered the 3 card poker game and I loved it.

We play at the craptaculiar "Casino Royal". I think that is what it is called. It is on the strip, right next to Harrah's I think. Smells like throw up.

Why do we play there? It still has 5 dollar tables. We go there if we have gotten beaten up a little at the bigger Casinos.

Fixes us up in no time. OR we can play a little longer and then go back to the hotel room.

Kaycee - 2013-11-20 11:29 AM I started to play video poker way back in the 1990's and over the years I have learned it well through computer programs like Bob Dancer's VP for Winners and it is definitely a game of skill.  My husband and I go to Vegas for many days and only play VP, it's so fun once you learn it.  Best place to play is the Orleans, that's where the locals go and the machines have the best pays 9/6/4 or even 10/6 machines.

BTW, the Orleans also has pretty good Texas Holdem but the locals(old guys and gals) WILL take your money!
Where is Orleans??? Downtown??? I usually don't wander very far off strip. Been down to Golden Nugget and they weren't very nice to me.
It is not on the strip but not too far from it either.  If you are at the corner of the strip and Tropicana go west over I-15 a couple of blocks and it is on your right.  It is out on the westside where the Gold Coast and Rio are located.  We also find good machines downtown at Binion's and some at Silverton.  There are other places but the Orleans, by far, is the best for video poker.
We stayed there last year and hated it.

The whole atmosphere was creepy. We ended up not gambling at all. (Which was probably a good thing) LOL
Really, creepy, how?   It's not FANCY like those casinos on the strip but they don't have ish for video poker, either. It's also not bottom of the barrel either.

It was gloomy inside and the rooms were dirty. We had a ticket package for the rodeo and is the only reason we stayed. Never again.
