Expert Posts: 1815	We've had some issues with our daughter as wel ......... it is emotionally draining to say the least. Happy to say, she is doing really well now. She was thin, but it was more of a phoebia problem that she was going to be sick ...so didnt' want to eat. I highly suggest Christian counseling.......we did that, and it was very beneficial. Other things that can help are very simple , and may seem silly, but truly help. One, being magnesium supplement ~ it settles down anxiety, and too much "thinking"......the other being a multi vitamin, and lastly, a lamp that imitates natural sunlight. All these affect the digestive system, depression and general well being. Praying for your neice today ~ God is not only our Creator, but also our Healer. Feel welcome to pm me if you want

I know this is what you feel but she has been in ED treatment for 3+ years by some of the best ED doctors in the country and none of them have ever mentioned a thing about molestation. It is simply the wiring in her brain.. I'm sorry she is having to go through this and your family also. You might want to look at a website/forum called Something Fishy (link posted below) for some online support and to have a place to talk to others about these issues. I know this board helped me conquer some of my ED issues (no, I was not molested either) so that they aren't such a big part of my life anymore.
