Hands down, Chasin Firewater. JB was great to work with, and my weanling Chasin baby is an absolute doll and super smart. I wouldn't mind a Firewater Finale either though.

I think it is pretty bold of a stallion owner to openly criticize other stallions. Girlz got ballz!!

wyoming barrel racer - 2013-12-13 1:56 PM I forgot about Firewateronthrocks. I am just not a fan of Ronas Ryan. He is a stellar performer though. Is he Future Fortunes as well?
Our stallion is a grandson of Ronas Ryon on the bottom side. I absolutely LOVE his disposition. I don't think I could have asked for a better stallion with his demeanor. He's not dingy, crazy, wild, hot, etc., etc. He has the sweetest temperament ever. Of course, though, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. :) Back to the original topic. I really like Crago's, Fire On Bug and Chasin Firewater.

I like Fire on bug also!

I love Chasin Firewater and really like Ima firefighter. No one has opinions in Alive N Firen or En Flano? I really appreciate everyone's help!

I also like Ima Firefighter he is nice looking too. Almost bought one, but didn't work out. I would have liked to have breed to him somewhere down the line, but with my mare being short and( correct me if I am wrong)being around 15 hands I just don't want a too short horse. Not that short horses can't run, but even though I am only 4'8 I like having a horse nearish to 15'3. You do have a nice mare :)

My mare (who is super solid, love her to death-the one in my avatar) is by Firecracker Fire, a son of FWF. Anyone know much about him? I haven't heard a lot, other than Dillon is also by him

Oh I know and I love your guy. I have never personally been around grand get of Ronas Ryan just his daughters. He was a tremendous broodmare sire, just look at his stats. I have heard Happy is very easy to get along with and well behaved so it does say something.

I dont think you can go wrong with a son of FWF there are nice ones out there  with a variety of bottom sides to fit a variety of mares. Pick one the size you like and go with it.

Eta I have spent some time looking at Flaming Firewater, I like his size and bottom side..... I need to win the lottery so I can afford to try all the crosses I think look good on paper.

wyoming barrel racer - 2013-12-13 1:36 PM There are 2 that I really like

Chasin Firewater and Firewater Finale. As for the stallion himself, I like Firewater Finale better of the 2. Just my opinion, but he looks heavier boned and bigger in structure. I bred a big bodied, high withered Shoot Yeah daughter to Firewater Finale and got a gorgous stout palomino that looks like he will have some height as well. He's been so easy to halter break and work with. He also did a number to himself last Sunday peeling all the hide off his chest, but every day he is a doll to Dr on. I will breed back to him again in the future. Amy was a dream to deal with on the shipped semen and he is paid into all the great Futurity incentives (Future Fortunes as well) and his offspring really have a nice value.

Fire On Bug is a great one. I had a mare by him that I raised. Ended up selling her because she was way to much like her mother and we didn't click. Saw him many times when he was still in WA and he was super nice to look at and be around! I also raised a nice colt by A Firewater Twist RB last year and he was great but alas I prefer mares and sold him. The gal loves him and said he is so easy to handle. I've seen Twister at many races and say all the same about him. Big, beautiful and great disposition! Going with Firewater Finale this year. Have heard great things about dealing with Amy and I love that he does more than run barrels! I also saw Firewater Dragon last year at the nbha super show in Vegas and he is also outstanding! Would love to have one of them as well

I would go with Fire On Bug or Ima Firefighter. The filly in my signature is by Fire On Bug out of a daughter of Dashin Is Easy. She is very well built, tall and is really quick. I will be breeding back to him in the Future.
