Location: Southwest Minnesota | I got my oldest daughter a new Ed Hardy Headstall and Breastcollar, and my middle daughter a new wool saddle pad for her gelding. My 3 girls got me a pair of Tin Haul boots!! I was very excited. I have wanted a pair for a long time, but would NEVER spend the money on myself. |

Location: North Dakota | My sister's horse is incredibly ear shy (has been forever). She's too short and un-coordinated to get a headstall on him by herself, so I took the brow off hers but I was concerned about it sliding, so I got her a biothane halter bridle (like endurance riders use). It has no browband but because of the throat and noseband, it's more stable and safer cause she doesn't have to switch at shows. I FELL IN LOVE when it arrived. It's royal blue and biothane is SUCH a cool material! Well I got the arab size, cause Buster has a smallish head and is usually everything horse sized is on the shortest hole. But this was a SMALL arab size and didn't fit him. Luckily, it was *just* big enough that I can use it on Shimmer. So Now we both get one :P I don't know if I'll ever buy leather again. I LOVE the biothane. |

The only thing- you do know Biothane doesn't break if your horse is in a fix. |

Yes, I've heard that, but I'm not too concerned because it is so widely used for endurance tack and when he's tied, the rope will release if he gets in a jam. |

Linda can you post a picture of them, I am needing some new reins the ones I have now are too short they were for my retired horse and need some longer ones now. I like thick reins, and have heard good things about Gale's riens. Does she have a web site? |
