~~I, personally, have a little bit of a different “take” on your post………… 1. This is a PUBLIC board – it is hard (next to impossible) to control someone else’s thought and opinions. 2. If you (“general” plural use of the word ”you”) post a question, opinion, or controversial statement, perhaps, you should not be surprised if it does illicit comments that fall into the Good, Bad, or Ugly category. (Refer to #1) 3. If you feel that you are not able to process or ignore the “Bad or Ugly” comments, perhaps you should refrain from commenting until you feel more confident. 4. If, at any given time, you do feel the “need” to resort to personal attacks or name calling, perhaps, you should look in the mirror to ensure that you have NEVER been guilty of the same sin (i.e. Those who live in glass houses, should not throw stones OR Judge not lest YOU be judged). 5. If, at any given time, you STILL feel the “need” to attack or call names, perhaps, you should not be surprised if the person you attack jumps in your “Rose Garden” and stomps all over your pretty flowers! 6. If, at any given time, you DO feel your “panties (shorts or whitey-tightys) in a wad”, perhaps you should step away from the computer and change your underwear. 7. If, at any given time, you feel the “need” to tell someone what they should or should not, what they can or can not post, or where they should “go”, perhaps, you need to check your name tag to see if it reads “owner” or “mod” of BHW. 8. If, at any given time, you feel the “need” to “fabricate” a story or your life history, please be assured that there are many sleuths and detectives on BHW who will “ferret out” the TRUTH. So try not to be “offended”. 9. If you are a "right fighter" (one who will fight to the death to prove you, and you alone, are RIGHT), perhaps, you may want to schedule your appointment with Dr. Phil soon! PS..............my appointment is Friday at 4 PM........ 10. If your thread goes “south”, don’t whine and cry to the “mods”. Walk away, with dignity, with lesson learned….Refer to Rule # 1 11. Here is what I say to everyone on BHW. This board is what 13 years old? Many of us here have been here since it's start. There is a wealth of knowledge here, agree to disagree, move on unless your certain it will get someone killed then fight the good fight.
Many of us are friends outside this cyber space....and we have each other's backs. Pretty sure this is what anyone would do for a friend. Our barrel advice has been given freely and willingly for over 12 years, we educated masses and are proud of that fact. The fact we don't chime in as often simply means we feel like we are being redundant. Most know what we have said in the past to same question.
Respect is earned and just because you don't know our track record don't assume.
Also when one trys to tell us we are wrong when asking for advice, it just get's you started down a dark path, when here on BHW it should be a path of enlightenment and if nothing else cyber friendship.
DO we need everyones approval, no. But we expect to be treated with a civil typing of your fingers. You get what you dish out.
Scott as always has typed out a great way to get along. If we can't agree on the horse front, find another path.
SO what is everyone doing for New Year's eve?

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | New Years is really just another day around here, feed all the animals, getting our chores done and then wait for midnight to get here so I can go to bed after all the fireworks are done around here, got to baby sit all my animals and make sure theres not any wildfires started by any stray fireworks out here.

My request is simply that we try to not personally insult each other. A lot of threads end up being a slanging match lately and I have noticed a few people seem to take pride in insulting others.
Go on, press the dislike button, I can take it. This post seems more dislikeable than a thank you post which got dislikes so looks like I am on a roll.
