This may help until you get to the truth. Take a couple towels and roll them real tight. lay them on the floor so you can lay on the top of them so they would be in the middle of your back North to south. Rock left to right slowly for a good 30 seconds. If you lay on the floor on your back and it doesn't lay flat on floor and you can feel an arch in you back after rolling back and forth you should be able to lay completely flat. This redistributes the water in your cells and give relief from pain.

I know there are a lot of skeptics out there concerning Chiropractors, but I believe in them 100%. If you have to continuously get adjusted, there is a problem somewhere else. If your muscles are really tight and you aren't very flexible, a skeletal adjustment will be good for a little while until your muscles pull everything right back to where it was. I would suggest seeing an Orthopedic doc, maybe even try to get into a spine institute that specializes in spinal issues.

What helps me when my back hurts ( I hurt it bad years ago and have never fully recovered) is to lay on our wooden floors for 10 minutes and let your muscles relax into the floor. This helps the most! I feel so much better after I do this, and then I stretch to try to keep my spine in that position.

Good luck to you!! When your back hurts, everything hurts and I know its hard to deal with sometimes. I hope you get to feeling better soon!!
