Praying!!
If they suspect where he is headed do they also suspect who took him? It's plain they went after this horse. Why take a branded one and have to break down the stall. I'm sure there were plenty of horses easier to get to with less ID on them.

Wow!!!!!!

That's awesome, we rarely hear a good result from this sort of stuff.

Do we know what made them turn themselves in?

No ma'am but I believe it was the power of prayer, I really do she had sooo many people praying for her here and on FB and Instagram, I am proud of Lexi because she never let it get her down, she kept her faith never complaining just thanking every one for their support and saying she was keeping her faith, that is hard for most people to do in her situation but she did it !! thank god he was safe, and again thank you to all, I wonder with it being all over the internet if that had anything to do with it.

I'm so happy for her that she is getting him back, although do they have to wait until Tuesday because he's far away or what? That part kind of confused me. Can't say I'd want to wait that many days to pick the horse up.

I'm very thankful she's getting her horse back but this is the craziest ending I expected.  Will or can there be charges pressed?

That was my thought all along when I first saw this post = someone else has or thinks they have superior claim to this horse.  Most people don't walk into a facility to take a specific horse, have to make that much noise or go through that much hassle to get to them and not worry about someone stopping them.  If you think you have a right to the horse, you're going to do that and not be afraid to talk to the law afterwards when you are found with the horse.  I'm sure there's more to this story than meets the eye.

ALWAYS, at least, two sides to every story .....I wondered that, early on, when they mentioned that he "may" be going to NM.....how would you know that?

Well thats food for thought for sure ... And I was wondering why in the heck would a theif go for a horse that has brands all over it? You know that the horse would be noticed with so many brands on it. And to go threw all the trouble of cutting locks, I was thinking there had to be more to this, but then who knows now adays.

i know about 15+ years ago a friend of mine's horse was 'stolen' at Ft smith when it was there for the futurity, being shown by a trainer.. Everyone knew that she had a had falling out with a person who had a foundation barrel stud in Texas . When she settled with that person the horse showed up in the trainers barn one night.  I know the owner was on the phone with police in a few states and got no where.  This took a few weeks to resolve itself and was really before the internet (except for compuserve chat) and I thought the owner was going to have a stroke she was so upset.  It was a gelding out of Pacific Baily that was taken.
