 A Barrel Of Monkeys
Posts: 12972
Location: Texas | I bought this one used about a year ago. It didn't fit my horse, so it sat in my living room for months - until my daughter asked if she could try it on her big gelding. I'd been worried about having to buy an expensive saddle for him and low and behold, it fits him like it was made for him. The only thing she'd change is to make it rough out so it's not so slippery.

Location: Qld Australia | Thanks for helping me with my fix guys.
I wondered about some of them 'popping' at the back when I see photos of them sitting on a horse and they look like the 'pop' when a horse is just standing there. Saddle fit has to be the hardest thing to achieve. |

They look to be great saddles for the price don't they?
I know some BB's have some seriously tricked out Triple Creeks, hopefully someone might post some more pics. A couple of the saddles posted so far are pretty close to what I imagine I would order if I one day get to. I should have ordered one a couple of months ago when the exchange rate had the Aussie dollar at the same value or higher. What a cheap saddle I would have got without having to add an extra 20-30 bucks per every 100. A saddle like these Triple Creeks, custom made in Oz would set you back starting price 3k. |

My saddle isn't tricked out yet, but I'm switching my saddle conchos this from the plain berry conchos:

Where did you find those conchos? Love them! I've been dragging my feet on having custom conchos made because I can't commit to a color I like. But I really really like these and they would look great on my Triple Creek! |

Location: Foot of the Smoky Mtns, East Tennessee | We love them! My daughter won hers a few years ago. I sold the horse I bought mine for and the next horse I ran did better in a treeless so I sold mine. Wish I hadn't! Have another horse now and am wanting another TC. Thinking about ordering one.

| I hope you don't mind but I have a question about these saddles. Everyone who owns one do they tend to fit different horses? Or maybe just one type. I've seen a few I would seriously like to buy but not sure if they would work for my horse. My mare is a bit racey bred but not really narrow. She's long backed and has highish withers that slope. Thanks for any help.

My full QH bars fits nothing EXCEPT the show horse. So there you go ;)

They're Horse Shoe Brand by Jeremiah Watt. You can find them on eBay. I know Weaver Leather sells them, but I think you need a business to order them from Weaver. |

I had one, wish I could find it to buy it back because I think it would fit at least 2 that I'm riding now.
I tried 3 or 4 forms and one bare tree from Triple Creek. None of the forms fit anything I owned. The "bean tree" fit one mare like a glove--it had more twist and flare , whereas the others were either too narrow or bridged on her, like fit front and back, but gap in the middle. My round backed mare didn't come close to being fit by any of them--none of the angles were close to flat enough for her. |
