I can't keep anything down today. I've only had fluids since waking up and they all just came back up :

I just ate more toast and have been moving around some. Hubby thinks the sugar in the gatoraide is bad.
(not expired but bad for my stomach
). Drinking sprite and going to head to the store for some pedialyte or something.

RE: Women....Laprascopy surgery question.....
Anesthesia usually makes me really sick, but have found that taking anti-acids seems to stop that. I take a Prylosec daily any way. My sister who does sonograms on pregnant women, told me to tell them when I go in for surgery about my gastritis issue. They either let me take my reg med before or give me something for the stomach acid. This has made a huge difference on my recovery from anesthesia. Still takes a couple of days for it to all clear my system, but at least I'm not sick.
So I guess you can try taking some anti-acids to see if it makes a difference for you.
Good luck.

Glad your doing ok and o your road to feeling 100%.. yes tiff walk around lil walks alot during the day and rest sitting in recliner or propped up.. dont lift anything until dr clears you though that is very important.. so you dont get more adhesions..
Thanks. I can't lay completely flat yet. So I have been staying propped up on the couch.
I wish he would have said they removed all the endo and I would be good to go for a while. But I understand why they didn't and couldn't. Not really looking forward to having to continue dealing with all of it, BUT grateful that it is finally being dealt with.
I have been on Progesterin
(?
) only for hmmm.....maybe around 7 yrs now. It shrunk my endo down to where the Dr. could only see a couple of tiny spots during my surgery and remove them.
I cannot take anything with estrogen in it, it makes things so much worse and makes me very sick. Has your Dr. had you try that yet to see how it works for you? I know it doesn't work for everyone but it was my lifesaver.
Hope you are feeling better soon.

This is a brand new doctor. The first three i saw didn't want to even talk to me about anything. So this one hasn't had a chance to try different things. The surgery was a necessity for sure. We will discuss other options when I see him for my followup. He did bring up some meds they use to treat endo the first appointment that I saw him but I don't remember what he said.
I ended up taking some muscle relaxers last night and it seemed to make a world of a difference.
