Location: Hockley, Texas | My 3yo daughter is a great stall cleaner. In fact she was serenading us with "Jesus is my superhero"..."You're my star, my best friend" last night. I have a precious video of it! We are in Texas, so you can borrow her, but I can't long-term lease her. ;) |

| I think if you want a good worker you've got to raise them yourself! My little guy helps haul water, clean stalls (has his own wheelbarrow and stall fork), and has his own tractor. He also exercises horses, helps feed, scrub waterers, etc. And when the work outside is done, he also helps with dishes, laundry, vacuum, dusting, etc. Too bad he has to go to pre-school next year!
Edited to add - You might have to raise a couple to get a good worker. Our oldest doesn't seem to care too much about helping outside!

Thanks! He works harder than most of the day workers we hire. I can't wait until he's really big enough to do stuff, I'd much rather pay him and know that the job will get done! |

Ha! It's kind of like horses that are full siblings, some have a great work ethic, others not so much! Our oldest (6 yrs) would rather sit in the house and read, draw, and learn (he recently asked if he could learn another language!). I'm not complaining, they are just different. But I know better than to expect him to come outside and work voluntarily! |

Location: Dubach, LA | LRQHS - 2014-03-11 11:24 AM I'm offering $60 for one nasty stall, 2 links of boudin and a Gatoraid lol....with potential employment next week digging fence post holes if they meet expectations.
I just tried another angle:
Childhood obesity??? You have it? Let me help you cure it.......
that might work lol
Good luck, sister. I posted ads in three different towns one summer wanting someone for fence row work at $10 hour. I supplied equipment. NOT ONE CALL. |
