Pastor Rick Warren posted on Facebook that it was a waste of his time. As a Christian I am only interested in the true version of the story of Noah. I don't know what all is in the movie but I hope it doesn't deter people from coming to Christ.  Komet stay away from me on this....... Â
If you read a little closer, you will see he posted "Thanks for the warning Mr. Director. You just saved me from wasting my money. " Like everyone else here, he has not seen it. I'm sure he would rather everyone put that money into his Mega church.

Totally agree Komet. It's a movie. It was the directors interpretation of the story. Don't go to it if you don't want to see it. So save your money for the donation basket if that's what makes you happy

If you want to watch a good one, go see "God's Not Dead". It is a current film (not a biblical story), but I (mostly) liked it.
It is about a college freshman who takes on a philosophy professor to prove the existence of God.
I cannot wait for the movie to come here..."God's Not Dead".

| Well, the first clue I knew it wasn't going to mention God, was the director himself! Darren Aronofsky has numerously described himself as an atheist. He is the one who directed The Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream, The Wrestler and The Fighter.
Here is an article I found about it today:

Location: TN | Thanks for clarifying that Komet. I still feel the same. I love a lot of movies and I know how Hollywood really does it up for the box office. I personally don't want to see this one because the story of Noah is not one I want to see added to or taken away from. I see several more comments it's just a movie don't go if you don't want to see it....well that is what I originally stated. I don't want to see it....hope all of you who go really enjoy it......this place is still as uptight as ever I see......

What divides us is not science, we are both committed to science, but our worldviews. No one wants to base their life on a delusion, but which is a delusion? Christianity or atheism? —JOHN LENNOX1
When a Man stops believing in God he doesn’t then believe in nothing, he believes anything. —G. K. CHESTERTON2
Faith is not a leap in the dark; it’s the exact opposite. It’s a commitment based on evidence. . . . It is irrational to reduce all faith to blind faith and then subject it to ridicule. —JOHN LENNOX3
Reason is a tool to help us better understand and defend our faith; as Anselm put it, ours is a faith that seeks understanding. —WILLIAM LANE CRAIG4
I mean, in a way, I feel that one of the reasons for learning about Darwinian evolution is as an object lesson in how not to set up our values and social lives. —RICHARD DAWKINS5
There must be an absolute if there are to be morals, and there must be an absolute if there are to be real values. If there is no absolute beyond man’s ideas, then there is no final appeal to judge between individuals and groups whose moral judgments conflict. —FRANCIS A. SCHAEFFER6
A common sense interpretation of the facts suggests that a superintellect has monkeyed with physics. —FRED HOYLE7
The best data we have [concerning the Big Bang] are exactly what I would have predicted had I nothing to go on but the five books of Moses, the Psalms, and the Bible as a whole. —ARNO PENZIAS, NOBEL LAUREATE IN PHYSICS 8
If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed which could not possibly have formed by numerous, successive, slight modifications, my theory would absolutely break down. —CHARLES DARWIN, ON THE ORIGIN OF SPECIES9

The illusion of design is so successful that to this day most Americans (including, significantly, many influential and rich Americans) stubbornly refuse to believe it is an illusion. —RICHARD DAWKINS, THE ILLUSION OF DESIGN 10
We now know that we are more insignificant than we ever imagined. If you get rid of everything we see, the universe is essentially the same. We constitute a 1 percent bit of pollution in a universe . . . we are completely irrelevant. —LAWRENCE KRAUSS 11
Consequently Atheism turns out to be too simple. If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning. —C. S. LEWIS, MERE CHRISTIANITY 12
That a few simple men should in one generation have invented so powerful and appealing a personality, so lofty an ethic, and so inspiring a vision of human brotherhood, would be a miracle far more incredible than any recorded in the Gospels. —JOSH MCDOWELL, MORE THAN A CARPENTER 13
Jesus existed, and those vocal persons who deny it do so not because they have considered the evidence with the dispassionate eye of the historian, but because they have some other agenda that this denial serves. —BART EHRMAN , DID JESUS EXIST? 14

I believe the Bible is the best gift God has ever given to man. All the good of the Savior of the world is communicated to us through the Book. But for it, we could not know right from wrong. —ABRAHAM LINCOLN 16
I have such a fantastic life that I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for it. . . . But I don’t have anyone to express my gratitude to. This is a void deep inside me, a void of wanting someone to thank, and I don’t see any plausible way of filling it. —BART EHRMAN , GOD’S PROBLEM 17
There is enough light for those who desire only to see and enough darkness for those of a contrary disposition. —BLAISE PASCAL 18
