Did a search and it was buried with the other 17,000 messages in my inbox. Oops! Meanwhile, because she hadn't heard from me, she sold the saddle. I think I need to clean out my inbox...LOL I hope it's the one I bought.....I'll just charge a $50 finders fee lol. If it was the 14" Meleta Brown saddle, I'll take it.
hmmmmm.....I can maybe make that work...... |

They are supposed to come look at or pick up a horse. They won't call or email and let you know they aren't coming. You can email them and ask them straight out are you coming and they won't answer you. We can't make any kind of plans for the weekends because we don't know if poeple are showing up or not.
Then we have the people who are supposed to be sending a check or a deposit it doesn't come and you email them to ask if it has got lost or if they didn't send it no answer.
Just a simple oh I forgot, I'll mail it today or I changed my mind would be very nice It's it shocking. Told my husband good manners are dead.....rudness is in.
I keep telling my husband I am so sick of inconsiderate people. Rude seems to be the new fad. I do day care & people will not let you know their kids aren't coming. They can call, they can text, they can email I don't care just let me know. But NO they won't. And I'm not talking about they get up & their child is sick they will know it the night before " oh no they went to grandma's for 3 days." And forget about them paying you when they are supposed to that just a lost art. |

| Last year when I put half my horses on the market I guess I was expecting difficulties. One good thing was that I was pretty much gone except a few windows of being home so the people who were truly interested sifted through all the non-answerers or tire kickers pretty quickly. There was effort required from the get go to either get pics, videos, or line up someone to show the horse.
I did have many contacts that seemed genuinely interested that just disappeared. Once I got home and had a few times like what you're encountering - peeps who said they'd come on Saturday morning, then no show, no answer, even not answering cell phones - I would wait one hour and then go on about my business of the day. I did have one girl that called after I'd left and we scooted back home. She had had gps issues and was lost when I had tried to call her (smart girl - ignored the phone while lost and driving! LOL!). She bought the horse so that one worked out.
I'm glad I don't have any for sale right now. It was not a fun time. I'm sorry to hear things have degenerated instead of getting better!

My brother and his wife have run a daycare for over 20 years. They simply charge for EVERYTHING. If your late to pick up you kid, it's time and a half. IF you don't pay on time your charged a late fee daily until your paid up. IF you don't show up with child, doesn't matter you still pay for the time the child is suppose to be there. They have the most sought after daycare around. They explain it to the parents this way. "This is our job and livelyhood, you wouldn't be allowed to do this at your place of employment, this is our place of employment and your expected to follow the rules." Works for them, and they have a list of parents trying to get them into their daycare program. |

I have found this to be when selling ANYTHING - it simply AMAZES me when people say they will be there at a certain time and they just don't show - no call, nothing. If I say I will be there, I WILL BE THERE unless I am in a ditch somewhere! |

My kiddos did pre-k in a preschool/daycare. It was a flat rate per month regardless of how much you used it or didn't. You paid before the month started. |

It's a let down on either end when you are counting on something and learn a person's word is no good. |

Location: In my own world | I bet it is annoying. I'm having the same problem except I'm the customer! I bought a custom blingy halter from a well know seen on here a lot tack maker. It broke the first time I used it. I have been trying for a month to get a replacement piece that I am willing to pay for. No response at all. I'm ticked. I was going to order a bridle set but not anymore!! |
