Location: Texas | Honestly Id pass. If she is that spooky and bucks enough to be passed that much from owner to owner there is a dang good reason. And if shes cheaper than the price listed on equinenow to me it isnt worth getting a full blown vet check and have checked for ulcers, ovarian cysts, ect ect.
Also keep in mind alot of trainers charge more for breaking one or charge more for one that consistently bucks. I charge $500.00 more a month for a bucker or a breaker. I dont want to deal with them so most people run when they hear the price I tell them.

Location: Under the Big Sky - Montana | Correct me if I'm wrong but this mare is 4 and has only had 30 days on her? Ever? And how long did she sit between the 30 days and the new owner? I'd maybe consider PSSM testing but really, a horse with only 30 days on it will probably still try to hump up if the new person doesn't do things like the old person did. It sounds like it was all under control after a jump or 2. Personally, I'd get more info on her background but I'm not sure I'd be too concerned at this point. Especially if she wan't handled much at all before they sent her off to be started. |

Location: Washington. (The DRY side.) | If you are going to contact previous "owners" be aware that at least one is a "horse trader". How much can some of these people REALLY know when they have only had her for a very short time? For what they currently want for her, you could find a young filly that hasn't been started yet (and therefor likely not "screwed up".) and start "from scratch" rather than spending your money on one that likely has "issues" already. |

No, no, no, no....
She because she CAN have a colt, doesn't mean she SHOULD. Especially if she is nasty under saddle. |

Good plan - I wouldn't have even considered her but I am OLD and not into "rodeos" anymore. Too many nice ones out there, why put up with a problem? I wouldn't think I could ever trust her. |
