Location: So. California | There is a lawsuit pending, alleging she (mistress) stole $1.8 million... the mistress released the tape to get even with him and cause havoc in his life. If hadn't had a mistress, there wouldn't be this problem... 
The NBA "investigating" is standard practice, I doubt much will come of it.
His opinion stated in private, should have never been publically aired and is illegal BTW. Revenge is an poisonous animal...
He owns the Clippers team and they are in the playoffs. The timing is horrendous for the team and I feel badly for the players. They wore their jerseys inside out, hiding the Clipper logo as a protest to this entire mess.
There is no place for racism. You are supposed to look at people for what is on the INSIDE, not what box they come wrapped in.

But I tend to agree that the NBA really has no ground here to punish him just for his remarks however racist and crappy they may be. Folks can just vote with their wallets...and players can quit etc.

I'm glad the "girlfriend" outed him despite her motives. I wish the players could have done more than just turn their jerseys inside-out to show how they feel. I'm not gonna lie, that hurt my head reading it. So, what we have here is wife caught money missing, husband probably denied giving it to mistress and said, "I'm 80 and have Alzheimer's, she tricked me." Now, wife want's it back, because husband is about to kick the bucket and she's angry that some dollars slipped through her grasp. Meanwhile, mistress says, "I worked hard for what I got. I had to sleep with that old, racist pig....not you! I earned my 1.8...." And, they are both collecting a defense and sympathy now....... |
