Location: 31 lengths farms | There is just so little known on how to treat them... I wanted to try and share anything that seemed like gave us results. I truly believe the reason she has the stones is more due to her being on Equioxx and Or Previcoxx long term when she fractured her patella 3 years ago more so even than diet, think all of it created the perfect storm for the formation of the stones. |

Location: 31 lengths farms | It has been getting very hot here so hadn't ridden CC in a little over a week. Got up this morning at 4:45 to get them all ridden seeing as it isn't suppose to cool down for sometime. Got the gelding ridden first, he's the sanest and it wasn't quite light yet, then my big mare Poopie Girl who was a little suspicious of working quite that early, lol!!! CC on the other hand couldn't wait for her turn, standing pressing herself against the gate. I got one lap of my worked up area walked on her and she had had enough of the slow stuff, asked her to trot and she busted into her long trot that you simply cannot post, you simply stand in the stirrups, good leg and core workout, lol!! Had to remind her that we were loping and NOT breezing.... Full of herself to say the least:) stopped her a few times during our session to see if she needed to urinate, never had to. Cooled her out, put her out for the day and finished feeding the dog and cats, caught sight of her headed to her "potty" area in the pasture. She urinated a nice flow of YELLOW urine!!!
So far so good!!! Thank God for Herbs and prayers:)

Location: 31 lengths farms | She's always been a horse that wanted "her" time. When she fractured her patella I had to make the decision to start hand walking her probably really before she was ready to because I was losing her mentally. She doesn't eat well when she isn't being ridden/worked, but to see the light go out in her eyes was too much. As soon as we started the hand walking that light came back so I knew the challenge this would pose thru this health issue.
Guess it means a lot of 4:45 am mornings coming up for me thru this heat but I wouldn't have it any other way. |

Location: 31 lengths farms | Little set back last night ...originally she was eating her herbs fine placing them on her hay and then putting her "grain" over the top of that, but about a week of that I noticed she had started flipping the hay over and eating from the bottom up so I started syringing the herbs to her. After about 2 weeks of that she was not happy about being caught knowing she was going to get medicine, LOL. So I gave her a break and started putting it over the hay again. Earlier last week she started flipping hay again but she was doing so well I decided not to syringe the herbs to her yet...until last night. Rode her, she seemed to be feeling good, wanted to go go go, never had to to stop to urinate, kept the session short due to the heat and just because she doesn't need to be in the type of shape she used to be in seeing as I wont' be running her at least until we get another ultrasound on the kidneys. Anyway, went and got my gelding to ride and as I was headed down to ride him, CC walked over to her "spot" and the beginning of her flow had a small amount of blood in it, by the time I got to the fence to crawl over it, maybe 3-5 seconds it had turned normal and the rest of the flow was normal. But guess who is getting their herbs syringed to them again and she aint happy!!! |

Location: 31 lengths farms | So I'm not sure what happened but still haven't heard back from the woman that was going to share the acuscope protocol that she used on her horse. Just wondering if any of you out there do acuscope yourselves have any thoughts on what your experiences would lead you to do if it was your horse. Or even Bioscan. |

Location: 31 lengths farms | Unfortunately for some of you, I've kinda of used this post as a diary of sorts for this issue. I'm looking into essential oils also for her. |
