| The guy obviously did not try to stop. Many of the highways in TX are 75 now but 70 is fast enough for this girl. Even the big trucks run about 70. Personally, I like myself well enough not to text and drive. Prayers for everyone. |

Location: Somewhere else | Prayers to all involved, so sorry for the loss of a great horse due to the stupidity of somebody else. The other driver would probably wish they was dead when I got through with them. What is so freaking important that you just HAVE to text somebody while driving. |

Location: Online | Yet some states like Utah have increased the interstate speeds to 80 mph, Idaho is proposing it, along with raising two lane highway to 70. That is ridiculous. If the speed limit is 80, they will go 85. I have been guilty of those speeds, but I am 100% focused on the road, (which is no excuse for the speed). Most of the time I set the cruise at 70 to conserve fuel, but that's just about as dangerous as going 80, people are crazy.
This story is just so sad, I feel so bad for the ladies who were rear ended. It was completely preventable. Time and time again I see people who drive like they are invincible. I just hope lessons were learned. |

Location: Heart of Texas | My thoughts and prayers to everyone involved. Especially the second driver. I cannot imagine the turmoil they must be going through. We all make mistakes, this could've happened to a lot of people. I was wretched with guilt when I rear ended a car doing 15 mph one day, I cannot imagine the 2nd driver. It would destroy me. |

| So sorry for all parties involved. A staunch reminder to not text and drive. Has there been a statement from the guy who caused the wreck? I do hope he shows remorse. I can't imagine hauling at 70 mph just becuase I could. Mostly for my mileage I rarely pull faster than 60 mph, people can go around me. Such a tragic loss. Big hugs and prayers. |

| We were pulling a trailer once in new mexico and I saw a car from way way back at a stop sign and wondered why he was just sitting there but when we got to him he pulled out and thinking he was going in same direction we got in opposite lane to pass but his intention was to cross the road so we went off the road and he just stayed in middle of road like he was lost but I've noticed that since I moved to new Mexico most can't drive so I really have to watch out for them. |
