Firewater Fooler!

Own son of firewater flit. He's amazing and a real level headed stud!

He's palomino under the grey!

https://www.facebook.com/FirewaterFooler?fref=ts

I had bred a mare to him, but sold the mare. I am going to buy a baby of his next year (or I hope! Unless someone gets to it first), the dam of said future baby is double first down dash!

Can't ride papers, but holy cow! Get the right start and training and I'm hoping it would take me far! Lol.

I might breed a few out next year. Not sure if it's what you want, but I'm in Central Louisiana. Stud fee $600. He live covers or ships. I had a nice experience with LA Center for Equine Reproduction this year and feel like they would make it easier for me to collect and ship, so that's why I'm considering a few outside breedings now.

Ir depends on what you want to accomplish with the foal. Also, I'd want to see the pedigree before speculating.

If I was limited to that amt I would choose Dashin Dynamo - he's a steal at his current fee and a nice cross for most mares...

I am also in South Arkansas. The recommendations I can make are Reds Western Native, Raymond Flowers had a nice Jet of Honor stud, Libby Hurley has a nice Firewater Flit stud that is out of a foundation mare (Firewater Fiasco is the stud) , there is also a stud by the name of Firewater Joe Bear that is listed on BHW, YQ Frenchmans Fly is a gorgeous gray in Mississippi. In Mississippi you also have Kelly Quarter horses that have Flit to Kill and one other stud.

If I think of any more I will post them.

Sorry it took me so long but here is the pedigree. She is appendix bred. The reason I would like a nice stud to breed to is I have a colt out of this mare that I love! I bought him when he was weaned and he is 5 now and I think will make a nice 1d/2d horse(when finished). He is a great grandson of doc bar and that is the only good horse on his papers (close) so I think if I breed to something nice I can get a really nice colt. I bought this mare only because I like my colt so much I wanted another one.

Otro Fracaso seems to be THE most under rated stallion on the planet. He is sireing 1D after 1D horses out of very very limited foals. They ALL seem to be tuff tuff barrel horses no matter what the mare is. He is $1000 and is owned by Lyndee Stairs.

There is a Frenchmans Guy stud called The Guys A Surfer who was really impressive when I saw him in Az. last winter. He is a solid 1D horse, super super minded, great bone, pretty, and he is also a pro level rope horse. He is at $1000 also.

I really like PC Frenchmans Mark.  Holy Bart is another very nice stallion.  Lots of choices!

Badgers Red Rodeo.  He is $500 and is live cover in NE OK.  Shane takes good care of your mare as well.  He is live cover or shipped.

Rodeo was a great tie-down horse, but has produced many barrel horses out of cow bred mares.  Plus he is a pretty roan.

I bred my mare to Frostburns. A lesson I learned this year was the stud fee is the least of your worries. I have $2800 in the mare right now. I had to ship on her twice. $1000 stud fee then $350 to ship the first time, $250 the 2nd. $694 to the first vet who didn't get her in foal then treated me like I was beneath him for asking questions. $524 to the 2nd vet who is amazing and so far she is pregnant. Checking for a heart beat tonight!!
So keep in mind that the stud fee is the least of your worries. I will be better prepared next year. Hopefully it will only take 1 shot... Not sure why she didn't take the first time. I think the stress of staying in the enclosed stalls had something to do with it. At the other vets she was in an outdoor run and buddied up with the mare next to her.

+ 1,000 on Otro Fracaso. I have one of his three year olds, and he's out of a hot mare - the quietest, easiest three year old I've ever been around. Lyndee just won the Futurity, Senior Division, AND 4th in 1D at the Harold Riva Memorial in Salinas last weekend on one. He throws consistent good babies. I have one on the way, with all the winners he's produced now I'd raise his fee if he were mine, so I wanted to jump on the train while I still can!
