| Maybe I'm old. Old school. Whatever.
I can see the humor. But it also kinda makes me sad, because it's true of a lot of girls. But that's not how it was when I fell in love with this sport. I see the changes and it's kinda sad, that's all. |

Totally get where you are coming from. I guess I only think it is funny because it doesn't apply to me or anyone I know closely. I think the girls that this song is describing are the girls that don't take the sport seriously; and just treat it as a reason to buy flashy things and meet cowboys. |

I can still laugh at it - but it's tragic comedy to me. |

I laughed. It has always been that way for some. I saw it growing up. I've heard the stories from before my time. Thing is, the cowboys aren't any better than the girls in reality. I remember the guys talking about finding a sugar mama back when we were young and all broke, and I could name several who would rugburn their knees for entry fees... |

That about made me spit out my coke!! Hahahah, I was NOT expecting to read that hahah! It's sad, but true. I know quite a few girls like that. I know someone that hooked up with an older gentlemen that was well off and got herself a real nice horse and new trailer and then left him and went on to the next. |
