Expert Posts: 4625 Location: Desert Land	I actually really like this bit. Instead of a curb chain I just bit a thin string. I was riding a real light mare and loved the feel of it on her. I think it's great for colts too who need direct reining rather than neck reining.

So if you took the headstall and curb off you couldn't flip it the other direction? Nope. :) Look at where the mouth piece attaches to the ring. It is held in place by being attached to the inside, surrounded by the other rings. If it were attached to the outside of the outermost ring like a normal gag, it would be reversible. I'd compare it to a curb that has shanks that are fixed (not reversible) but have a slight swivel action.

Expert Posts: 1286 Location: Mississippi	I just pulled it out of my trailer and I don't think there is anyway to flip it to where it would be inside out. The mouthpiece on this one is a twisted wire.
