Location: So. Cali. | I generally dont waste my time with horses that do not have prices listed. I saw generally because when I do ask it's because I know the horse is going to be stupidly priced so I just want a good laugh.

Can someone explain it to me? Maybe I'm just slow.
Because they are afraid that people who actually know them and the horse will laugh behind their backs. |

Location: The Saudia Arabia of Wind Energy, Western Oklahoma | It is just like not putting the price on the menu. When it says "market price" it is too much for me. Same with the horses. If I have to inquire, more than likely it is too much. LOL |

I dont get it either. I will NEVER email on private treaty ads. They do it to supposedly weed out tire kickers. But I can attest that I have been a very serious buyer at times and I will not email for a price. You are limiting your possible buyers by placing ads without a price. |

| I would think you'd have to deal with even more people! List the price and weed out half! |

I've heard people say that it's so no one knows what the buyer paid.....I guess in case one or both are trying to fib on their taxes...idk. |

In the high end horses I belive the seller like to respect potential buyers privicey and not post the price (what the person pays) for everybody to see. |
