Location: North Dakota | I had a neighbor like that before I moved to Dallas. He called the police more than once on us. We had a tree removed from our front yard and the tree removal company backed up a little to close to his yard and barely edged it with the back tires of the truck. It didn't do much just maybe a few inchs of grass was dented in. He called the police to deliver us a bill to have a lawn service company come repair the dents. New Years eve we set off one pack of fireworks because it is also my daughters birthday, he called the cops. I rode my children on the 4-wheeler down the street to their friends house and he called the police that I was riding in the road. We had friends over to grill and my children brought the radio out to play music, he called the police. We never got in trouble but it was annoying so we avoided doing anything at home eventually. Thank God we moved! |

What a crap head! I can't believe people sometimes. Some people have nothing better to do than to look for stuff to complain about. I swear, if those horses get out again, I'm going knock on my neighbors door so he can see first hand who's horses they are. I'm sure he'll call the cops because I woke him up in the middle of the night.......but, I don't care now lol. |

Location: Southeast Louisiana | If you catch them in his front yard, you could just tie them up and leave them there.
When the cops show up, just say, "not mine, all of mine are present and accounted for." Then just let HIM deal with it.

Sadly, they have no halters or lead ropes, so I'd end up losing all my crap lol. The lady showed up with no halters, no lead ropes and no feed. I had to supply all of the above. I should send her a bill lol. |

You should send her some basic horse care literature.
Is there one of those Horses for Dummies books? |

If the strays owner has no feed, I bet those lil darlins would love it if you sprinkled a bag of cheap sweet feed all over the lawn next door, they may even spend the whole night pawing and pooping. I would keep a spare bag handy for the next time they get out, then sit back with your popcorn and watch, lol. |

Why would you ever talk to these people? What possible good would it do? |

Well, I'd like to let them know that they called the cops on the wrong person and that I really didn't appreciate it. And, I'd, also, like to offer a good box blading to the yard for them......just being neighborly :) |

Oh yes...definitely this! ^^^
or...if you are in the mood to mail them something...why not a lovely box of poop? Thought has crossed my mind A LOT, but they would sooooo know it was me lol. most likely .... hmmmmmmmm can we throw rotten tomatoes at their yard to attract rodents of all sizes?? Of course we'd need to do this at night .... hmmmmm do they have a dog? No dog. I'm thinking of getting a mule or donkey though......nothing like a little hee hawing to piss the neighbors off.
