bennie1 - 2014-09-18 11:39 AM  Here's a pic I snapped with my phone at feeding time one afternoon a couple springs ago.  I thought the afternoon sun really put a glow on his color.

So who is this guy?

This is a fun thread! I love seeing candids of stallions, you get an opportunity to see what their really like at home!
This is our young man (3yrs old), he's shaping up to be an amazing horse and we couldn't be happier with the choice we made to purchase him!!
I've talked about the loss of our other stallion on here before and it was SOOOO hard to move on but I think I am finally giving this guy the chance and love he deserves - no longer the "replacement"! <3
He has just enough attitude to make him fun but has been hands down the easiest horse my husband has ever trained. The branding pics from this spring are the first time he has ever been rode in an open pasture, seen cows, roped anything and he never missed a beat - was a fun fun day!

Boosafluke - 2014-09-18 9:45 AM From time to time we like to post pics of our guy,  the kind you don't see in ads and so forth.  Hope you enjoy!

Also hope some other stallion owners will post some here as well,  Its fun to see their personalities off of the page!

Eye Soar took part in the a Hart shoot earlier in the year.  These are just some that we thought you might enjoy!

Not wanting to hijack the thread and these are NOT stallions, but they are by this boy. He is throwing some very nice minded colts.

LOVE getting to see everyone's guys being used.  This is a great picture and I love that these studs have jobs and relationships outside of breeding mares.  Handsom guy

I agree it's a nice change seeing the stallions doing a job... not just owners saying that they do.

Well he's no longer around, but this is my colts daddy, Streak. We got him later in his life so I cant take credit for his manners, but he was an amazing stallion to have around

Here's one of Yeller and I holding the heel end on a cow while my boyfriend shoved a prolapse back in her on an 18 degree day last winter. :)

Thanks! I certainly think its beneficial for a stallion to have a job outside of breeding mares. I know our guy sure gets some pent up energy when he hasn't been out of his pen or used in a while BUT because we don't have much land he is cooped up in a pen, would be a different story if he could have his own pasture or run with the mares. Its also fun to work with him and see what he is capable of and cross our fingers his foals are the exact same way! lol
