Location: Minnesota | It's more or less the child do not know any better look at her role models. Honestly I am glad the show was cancelled and that tlc isn't supporting a mother who lets a known child molester in her house and thinks its okay. By the way isn't there rules about that? Child molesters can't live in a home with children? its just sick is all I can say. But again its just an opinion....  |

I agree. I find it kind of interesting everyone says how trashy and low class they are but then in the same post have no qualms saying HORRIBLE things about a child. |

| The only reason people watched was in the spirit of "making fun" of them. Which is sad. Although they gladly subjected themselves to it. That child was all the more encouraged to act the way she did because it drew attention/ was good for tv. I know everyone has to make a living but I am sure not sad to see the show go. The whole situation was kind of disgusting. |

| I'm glad the show is leaving. But I'm sure we'll all get to watch re-runs for years. Not that I'll be watching.
What is going to be really sad is this little hellion is going to grow up and think that being rude, trashy, etc is OK and that's how she'll act. The people who found them, encouraged them, and paid them should be beat with a stick. The mother probably should also be beaten with a stick because she ate this attention up.
Sad state of our world these days that it is better to make fun of people than it is to help them do right by their kids. |

^^^This^^^ That mother needs to be thrown in jail. I read where the older sibling already claimed molestation. I don't know if it was true or not becaue I don't believe everything I read on the internet. But still, allowing a child molester in the same house is sick and twisted.
I never watched it, never had a desire to watch it. Sometimes my curiosity gets the best of me and I have to check shows like this out, but not this one. I hated that they were exploiting this little girl, allowing her to act like that and paying her for it. Her mother makes me sick. |

Location: Oz, Kansas | I watched it in the beginning just for their awesome quotes but it got old after awhile. Honey Boo Boo actually got her start on Toddlers & Tiaras. I feel awful for her older daughter that was molested by this animal. How could a mother choose an ex-con over her own child? I'm glad TLC is offering to provide counseling for these children & I truly hope that the younger children in the home stay safe.
As far as guidelines on contact, I'm thinking that since he served his time he's no longer on any kind of supervision & is only restrained from having contact with the victim. This whole thing just makes me sick. |
