| Years ago at a large TB track a horse got away from its jockey jumped the infield fence, ran out into the infield lake, fell down and drowned. Sad part was the lake was less than three foot deep. An outrider jumped in the water and tried to keep his head above water, but the horse was in such a state of mania he couldn't regain his footing, nor could the outrider keep his head up. That was a very interesting call the trainer made to tell the owner his horse was dead! |

Naw, chick! You know how barrel racers love to swim their horses. He's probably worth double now.
Hunters and jumpers go OVER the water, not IN the water.
Eventers love jumping Into water
They are cray cray lol |

Location: NE Texas | Already saw him....private treaty is out of my price range. I'm a bargain shopper! That's why I have to go with the gate breaking, rail jumping version of the Walk Thru Fire.
Well....i've changed my mind on the swimmer.....I have products of the 2 best kept secrets in the barrel horse biz at my house (well one right now....but still own the second) and would love to have more of these. Seems alot less risky and alot more enjoyable in the longrun. |
