I prefer homemade gifts. IMO more thought and effort went into gifts that are made versus something you go out and buy.

I was brought up to be thankful and appreciate anything someone thought enough of me to give me, and was taught as child to NEVER tell someone you already have something they give you. I do love homemade gifts. Some may not be perfect - but someone took the time to try and that is what I appreciate.
