Location: NE Texas | The juice absolutely is worth the squeeze. I may not be out winning the world, but i'm trying to work towards it. I've got the nicest group of young horses i've ever had one that is futurity bound in 2015. Keeping fingers crossed he does well, but even if he doesn't, it was worth doing! It's something that i've been excited about since he was a weanling and we're finally there!
I have my husband to thank for helping and encouraging me to do things I never thought i'd do. I love horse racing....I mean LOVE IT! Have always wanted to be able to watch a horse I own come down the track. Because of my husband we have been able to do that. Haven't had anything win big yet, but never know....might just be the next one that wins big!
I have a 3 YO that I like and a yearling that I love......and have another 2 YO on the way that won't be mine but I bet I get to ride him. Yep, that's right, another El Scorcho is coming to live at my house! So get ready to hear more brag posts from the Quarles clan on how much we love the Scorchos.....and Ricky of course!
Bottom line.....yesterday is too late....set goals, write them down, and work toward them every day even if it's nothing more than going out and brushing your horses....or whatever a baby step toward YOUR goal would be! Have realistic expectations daily that build to what your long term goal is and GO FOR IT! What's the harm in falling short? NOTHING....it's the journey that is the blessing. Happy Thursday everyone! And Jen, I love you buddy! We got great things in store for us!!!!! |
