Location: Montana | Yeppers, got snow here, and whoever said this is January weather, hit the nail on the head. We got all the horses arranged and the water tanks prepped on Saturday preparing for this. I'm not ready for fall to be over with! Tonight's low is supposed to be -3 F and tomorrow's high is supposed to be 8 F. Whoever is moving south, can I hitch a ride with you guys??? |

Speak for your area of AZ. LOL. My end of AZ has been seeing Highs in the 40's and lows in the 20's. Had some flurries last week. Granted that's still much warmer than some others. I'm ready for Spring.... |

Garrison Keillor must be overjoyed. He loves to talk about the miserable weather there. |

Location: Central Montana | It is not too bad here in central Montana tonight. It is about 12 degrees at 10PM. The wind is still so there is no windchill, or next to none.
Blanketed both of my horses today, more for my peace of mind than the fact that they were cold because neither were a bit chilled and took off when I tried to blanket.......I didn't take a rope or halter with me.
The worst part for me personally is that it rained for about 2 hours last night before it started snowing, so, the roads were super icy today and it is about a 30 mile drive to work. We didn't get more than a dusting of snow last night but it is starting to come down tonight. |

Its so hard on animals when it rains before it turns cold.

| Yesterday was 70 and beautiful here in southeast Iowa. I rode my horses for a little bit and then went coon hunting last night. It was gorgeous! I was even sweating!
This morning, it was 31 degrees, raining/sleeting and then it snowed. |

Awww, that's not so bad... My first job milking cows was about 100 miles up the road from her and I remember the winter (Jan) of 82 we had -20 with a 20 mph wind and 15 inches of snow on the ground... I went through some cold winters in Missouri but the worst one was in Idaho. We had snow a week after Thanksgiving and it was still on the ground on the 15th of April... That was when I decided I'd had enough of cold weather and came south the following September. |

| 78 yesterday. 47* right now with it dropping into the 30's tonight. It rained yesterday and last night too. I hate the winter. By next Wednesday we are supposed to be in the upper 60's with lows in the 50's. Talk about confusing weather! |
