I've tried a few of those already listed. Am not going to start a bashing thread but I didn't care for some. I've been to 8 Connie Combs clinics. My style clicks with Connie. I think its important to know how you ride so you can make a good decision about clinician. Also where are you located?
Good advice!! I am located in Iowa. My biggest problem is my hands, and not riding past 2nd barrel on a super ratey horse. I'm more of a passive rider. Every once in a while my aggressive side shows up. LOL!! |

Location: Lost in the corn of Iowa. | Thanks for all the advice and names of people to look up to find more about. It is greatly appreciated. I'd just hate to be disappointed and not feel like I'm getting my money's worth. I've been to horsemanship clinic with Curt Pate years ago, and I just felt like I was at a more advanced riding level than what was in the class. So I felt like I didn't get much from it. |

I think Lynn McKenzie is awesome at getting those ratey types to stride out further around the barrels- |

| Hey Girls Gotta Jet I host an Ed Wright clinic in IA every summer the end of July we would love to have you!
I've been riding with him for years now with many different horses and he's the best in my mind. Feel free to ask any questions. |

| The ones I've heard the best things about are Rineharts, Martha Josey, Charmayne James and I've personally been to a Lance Graves Clinic.
Charmayne is coming to Kirkwood.
Rineharts are usually around here at Centerville.
Lance Graves is SUPER hard to find at clinics now-a-days, but boy that was the best thing I ever did, was go to his clinic! |

I have a very free running mare that needs to learn to use her hind end and power out of her turns. Connies drills work really well for that. Know what your riding and how you ride. |

Location: Nebraska | Not sure how close you are to Nebraska, but Ed also comes here. Jimmie Munroe comes to Fremont and that's also a good clinic to go to. |

Location: Mississippi | We are having an Ed Wright clinic February 7-8 in Mississippi. Great clinic. Lots of repeat riders that come back every year. One on one attention for you and your horse. He has helped me so much. |

| I have been to several and the clinic put on by Paul Humphrey and Levi Olson was the best by a long shot. They teach you how to be a better rider and how to prepare your horse to run barrels properly no matter what your or your horse's skill level is. |
