kendra_turn_n_burn - 2014-12-02 1:07 PM So hubby and I are wanting to go down for the last few rounds. Don't think we are going to the rodeo as we will be taking our 3yr old. This will be the first time going and we really just want to go to shop. I have heard that some hotels play it on a big screen and you can just sit and watch. Is this true and if so which hotels? Or can we take a 3 year old with out paying for her own seat? Thank You
From the looks of the Mirage website they have a big viewing party... but take my info with a grain of salt!  This is my first year going.

We stayed at The Mirage last year.  The Mirage viewing area is in the middle of the casino and flanked by California Kitchen on one side and a bar on the other.  The crowd is pretty rowdy (especially later on when they have the Rodeo Vegas after the rodeo party).  It's a great place to see NFR contestants.   I don't know if I'd bring a 3 year old into it...  And getting tickets to the last few perfs might be difficult and expensive.

Toby Keith's is a lot of fun to watch at, and they usually have a good band after.

I've always wanted to go to the NFR. I need to make this happen. I'm just such a planner it will take me a lot of research to decide what to do.

My SO and I joke that if we ever get married it should be during the NFR in Vegas...with an Elvis impersonator officiating

This will be our 3rd time to the NRF, the 1st time I tried to plan everything, but got shot down by my friends. (We go with multiple couples, so lots of fun!) And after that I decided the only thing I "plan" is, is what I plan to buy.... like the 1st year I got boots, the 2nd year I got a CSI pad, and this year I will be looking for a headstall/ breastcollar set.
Other than that, just go with the flow, and enjoy!

That's how I'm trying to be, but I'm like TrailGirl and always have everything planned out!!

My biggest fear is missing a trade show. lol... but I guess if that's your biggest fear on a vacation everything should be alright!!

My to do list includes:
Barrel Racer autograph session
Watch the Bellagio fountain show
See the chocolate fountain at Bellagio
Eat at Pink's
Visit all the tack set vendors on my list
and last but not least..... eat my weight in canolis from Buddy V's.

What is everyone elses???

I have often wondered about this--how young is too young to take kids to the whole "party"??  Have any of you taken little kids??
Don't want to hijack the thread......just wondered

Is Cowgirl Tuff only at the Hard Rock? In years past they've been at NRS at MGM but they are not on their list this year. Are they having the buy 2 get 1 free sale on their jeans this year? It's been one of my favorite things to buy.

Cowgirl Tuff is hosting their own vendor hall and other entertainment at Hard Rock.

I like that advice! I've been so worried about planning I'm not having fun anymore! I didn't want to miss out on anything. Sounds like just going and having fun and see what happens is going to be the plan!

Oh Im going to have to see the Christmas at the Bellagio!!

Ow, the Bellagio sounds like fun. Will definitely try to work that in.  And we talked about going to Freemont street this year. So looks to be a full agenda again... but we are there once a year, so better make the most of it. But I won't stress too much about it if we are not making it to either....
