Hoping she isn't hurt I believe it is because of the ground issues. I'm really hoping to see her run! But props to her on not running her good horse if she feels the ground is unfit for her. Keeping the horses best interest in mind!
I agree with you. It would be difficult to not run your first string when you are on Rodeos biggest stage, but it seems she has the horses best interest at heart. Not to mention the horse is only 6, it would be terrible to have her career ended at such an early age due to an injury. |

Location: Pineville, La. | Chicks Quick Molly is the Palomino mare Samantha rode in the 1st two rounds, trained by Brenda Whatley and sold to Sophie Palomore (sp) from Texas. Molly is sired by Ole Yellow Nugget owned by Nugget Quarter Horses in Dry Creek, La.
From What I have heard Samantha is holding Pistoletta out until the ground levels out..

I don't know that I have seen a lot of 'paint hate' here over the years. I have see a lot of props given to the paints who have competed there in years past. Magic, Cuidell, T Bar are the ones that come immediately to mind. |

Location: Austin, Texas | It's sad to see that she hadn't won any money yet. They travel so many miles and spend so much money to get there. You may have a great horse, but the T&M can make your tough horse not look so good. If you don't have a horse that likes tiny pens then you are going to have a long week. Also, so many horses are shutting down anticipating that third barrel. Tough deal. |

T Bar was one nice horse! The others were too. He was just very distinct in his look and markings as well as being a jam up barrel horse. |

I agree plus many paints in the past have been quarter horse crop outs. You have to go back far to really find a pure paint just like you have to go back really far not to have so much TB on the pedigree. |
