Just ordered! Can't wait to get them. I'm just now getting back on my gelding that had stifle surgery and PRP injections! Really think this will help him!

I would like to hear about stories of using the stifle wraps. I know the copper stuff is new but even the PHT stifle wraps.... I have a mare that is suspected to have stifle issues (by 1 vet) but not one out of 6 can find anything wrong (x-ray and ultrasound and flex tests) so I would be interested in trying them to see if I saw a difference.

I am sure you will...  We "had" stifle wraps several years ago that attached to the blanket.  Our customers reported great success with them, but with blanket shell change we were no longer able to offer them.  So this will make those customers and others happy to be able to have the PHT Magnets available again in the stifle area, as we would get calls regularly wanting them

rodeoveteran - 2015-01-03 1:03 AM Ohhh, can you make stifle wraps for dogs? Heeler sized?

Sorry we cannotΒ

Bbbbbuuuuttt whyyyyyy not!????

My dog NEEDS them. He tried jumping into my truck a year ago last fall, missed and got both hind legs caught in the nerf bar and his 70 lbs self hung from his back legs and tore up both stifles. At first was told he damaged an MCL on ne then a second opinion told me that his "good" leg had a completely torn ACL. Poor old fart. Shortly thereafter he was diagnosed with diabetes.

Feel sorry for us yet? If I can make you feel guilty enough maybe you will get creative.......... :o)

Ouch..... I hate nerf bars for that reason along with me hanging my own foot in them.  Our PHT dog blanket should be a help for this area.

Same hold true for stifle wraps as does our other products
PHT Magnetic Sheets are recommended to be used as much or as often as the horse needs it.

It is the one therapy You do not have to worry about using too long or too often

In order for the blanket to provide any therapeutic benefit it must be left on for a minimum of 20 minutes. You can leave them on up to 24 hours at a time as well. Each horse can require a different amount of therapy time. Just experiment to find the correct usage time for your horse. Some need them more some less. If you will just watch your horse he will tell you.

What are the benefits of using the Cuhorse vs. PHT? I guess I have holiday brain and the info on the Cuhorse just isn't specific enough for me. My horse is one of the very few who does not tolerate magnetic therapy. The Back on Track works but the sheet is just to heavy in the summer.

This is from our website.  I really don't know how to get more specfic than this.  You can always google Cooper therapy
The horses health and well being has always been a primary concern in PHT Products.  In developing CuHorse™, PHT set out to not duplicate what was already available in the market place for our equine partners, but rather to develop a unique product that is consistent in quality, readily available, and possess improved attributes for safety and effectiveness.  CuTech® has documented the efficacy and safety of the Copper CuTech ® proving it inhibits bacteria and promotes angiogenesis and tissue repair (which only copper ions can achieve, not silver).  Copper oxide is at the heart of CuTech®.  The PERMANENT Copper Ion Technology is incorporated into the fiber matrix providing every piece of CuHorse™ with ENHANCED Copper Ion Technology benefits.
Copper has potent anti-fungal and antibacterial properties as well as an essential trace element for the normal function of many tissues and is indispensable for the generation of new capillaries and skin.  CuTech® allows copper ions to be released from the yarn which can be beneficial in the healing of cuts, wounds, hard to treat skin pathologies,
Copper complexes are highly effective anti-inflammatory agents.  The elastic fibers of connective tissue need copper for tensile strength.  Wearing copper bracelets is a time-tested anti-inflammatory treatment but the amount of copper absorbed is relative low.  With adding CuHorse™ to your horses therapy program, you will be able to safely provide therapeutic copper to your horse.
CuTech ® is effective  in reducing odor control as well.    It promotes healthier-looking skin.  Because skin regenerates every 2 weeks, the antimicrobial CuHorse ™, can promote wound healing, as infection is known to reduce skin regeneration.  With the use of CuTech® fabric, CuHorse™ continuously reduces bacterial contamination, achieving 99.9% reduction within two hours of exposure.  This surface kills greater than 99.9% of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria within two hours of exposure.  This surface delivers continuous and ongoing antibacterial action, remaining effective in killing greater than 99.9% of bacteria within two hours.  It can continue to kill even after repeated contamination.  CuHorse™ helps inhibit buildup and growth of bacteria.  Peer reviewed scientific publications show Antimicrobial Copper to be effective against bacteria, viruses, fungi, molds, MRSA, H1N1 Influenza, Clostridium difficile, VRE, Staphylococcus aureus, E-Coli and many more.  Bacteria typically are not ‘mobile’ by themselves; they don’t fly or crawl from place to place. They are transported solely by contact.  CuHorse ™ help to prevent this transportation.
The CuHorse Leg wraps are an important part of routine maintenance, providing a healing environment for ligaments, tendons, bone, skin, blood vessels, along with wound healing.  Because of the effectiveness of the microbial action of Copper, scratches and rain rot , can be treated more easily.  Thrush, bruised heels, contracted heels, and many other hoof ailments can be helped with the CuHorse™ Bell Boots. CuHorse helps leg wounds become more manageable and help with quicker healing times.  Our soon to be released blanket will help horse owners provide Antimicrobial and Therapeutic Copper to the body of the horse.  We will be also bringing more leg complete leg wear in the very near future.
Because of the inherent nature of Copper, Copper plays a major role in the transfer of heat.  As horse owners, we understand the need to keep heat from being built up in the legs and body.   At PHT we are firm believers in homeostasis.  By incorporating copper CuTech® into our CuHorse™ products we are able to bring a powerful player to homeostasis* in our horses.  *Homeostasis,  a process by which biological systems tend to maintain stability while adjusting to conditions that are optimal for good health.
Copper is an important nutrient that has a significant role in the synthesis of hemoglobin, myelin, body pigment melanin, and collagen.  It helps protect the myelin sheath of surrounding nerves.  It is also actively involved in the production of elastin in the connective tissue.
Copper is essential in the production of red blood cells, Hemoglobin, and bone matter.
Copper is a vital part of the healing process and ensures better wound healing.
CuHorse™ powered by CuTech® allows copper ions to be placed as close to the skin as possible for effectiveness.
Benefits of CuHorse
Helps Relieve Soreness
 Facilitates Recovery
Odor Resistant
Fabric Wicks Away Moisture
Reduces heat and provides cooling
Recent studies yielded new information on the structure, function, and regulation of copper transporters, uncovered unanticipated functions for copper chaperones, and established connections between copper homeostasis and other metabolic pathways.  At PHT we are believers in what homeostasis can do for the body, and are constantly striving to provide the horse owner with therapy that help establish this harmony.
