| LRQHS - 2015-01-08 4:23 PM bowersk - 2015-01-08 4:21 PM Hoofs.. I think I'd be outta there! But, I'm not much better. Our house is haunted but they haven't opened the doors up... yet. We hear kids laughing in the breezeway between the garage and house almost every morning. One night, my SO and I were heading out to the barn to feed and left the DVD we were watching playing. We got back inside and the t.v. was off, DVD player was ejected and DVD was out of the player, turned upside down on the coffee table. We live alone and he was with me the whole time. Ghosts give me the heebee geebees. That just means they didn't like that particular movie to put something else on.....or maybe, they were trying to save you money on your electric bill.
Ha! That's what the SO said. The ghosts do not like our taste in movies. |

| Oh my gosh .... gotta share my ghost story.
SO, we have a family friend in Indiana. Every year in the fall, we'd travel from the west coast out to Indiana to have a production sheep sale with a few people; and my mom and I would stay at Billie's house a couple miles down the road.
Billie lives in an 1870's built 2 story home. It is drafty and cold year round. So, she hangs blankets over doorways and windows to hold the drafts. (yes, she's thrifty instead of buying new windows or doors). As a little kid, it freaked me out one evening - Billie hung up her blankets, checked the fire in the stove, and we all went out to go feed the livestock. We came back in roughly 30 mins later and EVERY blanket was taken down, folded and placed in a neat pile in the middle of the living room.
Now someone PLEASE explain that one to me???!!!
OP - that would freak me out too! As long as my horses were cool with it, I'd be ok! |

| Our pellet stove shuts off if pellets aren't feeding to keep the fire going if for some reason a pellet gets stuck or if the stove needs cleaned. Just a thought, maybe that happened to yours and it's not really a ghost |

Location: North Dakota | Wow good stories guys! This is just one of many strange experiences I've had in various places. I too lived in a haunted house for a short time. I was poked, had clothing tugged, my sister had her hair pulled. We both saw shadows, had a basket above the toilet dropped on our heads, etc. My front door handle started shaking like crazy one night at like 1am. Anyway, my barn could be haunted because the lady who owns it, get husband died here. |

| I'll play. I know my property is haunted. I have a very heavy steel decorative double gate. Its a pain to open when you want to leave. It opened wide for me one day before I pulled off our land. Radio turns off and on... motion lights by the barn go off when I can see nothing in front of it. So much more that I can't even remember it all.
When it left a grocery list for Ghost Chow, I was well convinced. ,-- okay that was a lie. The rest was true. |

Location: In the land of peanuts and cotton | Ummm no thanks. I would have to move ASAP. I'm chicken ***t when it comes to stuff like this. Just reading these makes me not want to get out of my bed. My friends wanted me into going with them to a haunted house or to be more specific it was built in the 1800s as a old hotel then hospital then nursing home. I didn't want to seem like a baby so I went along with it. After about 5min one of them had to literally pick me up and tote me out because my legs would no longer move. Now I am not one to cuss but I think I said every word in the book multiple times that night. |

| My boss's house is haunted - by a little girl, when she actually TOUCHED him one night while he was eating dinner, he had had enough, he said he felt like an idiot but he stood in the room where she is the most active and told her to CUT IT OUT - and she did - for the most part. The people that live in the house before he did said they saw her too. |
