About the only war related movie we watch in this house is Memorial Day....
The rest all hit way too close to home. We already know the tragedies of the stories, no need to relive them......American Sniper may not be too bad but we dont watch any of them :( |

God bless you and your family. I can't imagine the daily life and challenges that come from deciding to devote your life to protect our country. Thank you. |

| For those that saw it, Lone Survivor was 1000x better. As another poster said... it's plot line moved slow and put way too much into the movie, but the story overall was really sad and put a lot of things into perspective. Bradley Cooper did an amazing job. |

Location: Arkansas | I went to see it earlier today. I really liked it (and have read the book). I didn't think it moved slow at all. It was easier to watch than I expected. Bradley Cooper made me a fan, for sure. He was great, as was Sienna Miller. |

Location: Riding Crackhead. | They're selling reserved tickets for the movie here. My son and his friend bought them and the only time they could get in was 10:00 tonight. He's hoping he can stay awake. I'm anxious to hear what he thinks of it. |

Location: Wisconsin | Just seen it tonight and we thought it was a great movie. As for the end being "flat" ...It was a true story and he died, so not sure how much add lib they could have made it. The ending with real footage did make me cry. It hits real close to home here at our place too. |

Check it out. http://www.forged.com/collections/the-legend |

Location: TN | It was awesome... We left with soany thoughts and emotions that we couldn't put it into words. Chris Kyle and all the veterans are truly amazing people. The theater was sold out and as everyone was walking out during the credits it was total, reverent silence like at a funeral. |

| We saw it last night. I thought it was excellent. I feel like there are so many people this day and age that don't understand the sacrifices of our soldiers. I love this country and would never want to live anywhere else. I wish our president felt the same |

Location: Somewhere between S@% stirrer and Saint | It was pretty Fing real about millitary life. I have never heard the Fing F word so many times in my Fing life. I liked the Fing bloody body shots. It was Fing intense. Fing hard to pull the trigger on a little kid. I was Fing crying at the end with Fing tears running down my Fing face.
It was the first R rated movie I have been to in 35 years.
Loved it very emotional! Got to love what our soldiers do for our country and protect others. Many thanks for all they do! God Bless our troops and leaders!

Cold hands and Warm Heart
Location: oklahoma | Β I liked that they told the love story between he and his wife. We normally don't go to the movies but it was well worth it. I didn't think that it lagged at all. It did however, amaze me how many people gasped when he died. As though they don't know his story. In fact, I was just telling a co worker that we went to see it and she's never heard of him. We live near an army base. |
